no snapping allowed.

"Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when you get on each other's nerves you don't snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out"--1st Thessalonians 5:13-15 (The Message)

I am (not-so-proudly) impatient. I try to be patient but sometimes I snap. And unfortunately this happens to the people I love most...my family. Especially during repeated conversations. For some reason, I can't stand listening to repeated conversations or repeat conversations to other people. But--on the upside--I think this verse in 1st Thessalonians is amazingly encouraging. And I love how relate-able these verses are even though they were written years ago. Isn't that amazing?
