speak up.

"Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice" --Proverbs 31:9

I love this verse. When I read it, I instantly think of how easily it can be applied to teachers and students. As a student, I know there are times when I should've stood up for my classmates and I am blessed to have friends who stand up for me (there are also times when I wish friends would've stood up for me, but I'll focus on the positive). As a perspective teacher, it's important that we stand up for our students, schools, and fellow educators. We need to step up and defend the educational rights of our students.
