five little things.

I should be doing homework right now, but we all know that's not happening.

At the moment.

Anyway, I feel like I should write more about myself so you can get to know more (or do you even want to know how weird I am?).

Well, here goes. Five little things that make my day:

1. Journaling. Most of you know that I love to write. It's also how I vent and get my ideas out.  Definitely cathartic and a must before I go to bed.

2. A silly dog to wake me up and bug me when I'm studying. My sister and I used to want our dog to come and visit us in our rooms. So what did we do? Kept little dog treats (stored in a container) on our desks. Now, my pesky (yet adorable) dog likes to come bug me when I'm trying to do my homework. Which is cute (he likes to wag his tail and rest his chin on your lap), but, well, a little hard for me to get anything done.

3. The Joy the Baker Podcast. Joy and Tracy are hilarious. And I feel like I'm right there with them as they chat it up. And sometimes I want to laugh out loud as I listen. At night. While the rest of family tries to fall asleep. But that's what doors are for, right? (photos from here and here).

I've also started listening to Joy's We're About to be Friends Podcast as well. So far, I've listened to her interviews with Aarti Sequeira and Bakerella. Pretty cool people, eh?

4. Heat. Not so much in the summertime, but I love standing on the heater vents when my toes are cold in the winter. I love being warm and toasty. But in the summer, I prefer the cool air coming from these floor vents instead.

5. Sleep. I'm a college student. What's more to say?

p.s. Food was a tie for number five. But I decided against that because I'm actually a huge fan of leftovers and writing that sounded a little weird...

p.p.s. For those of you who may have seen this post last week, I apologize for this major blog FAIL.
