double b smoothie.

Summer is a coming! And summertime means two things: vacations and smoothies!

texted.

And while I can't give you a vacation (sorry, I'm a college student and well, money is pretty much nonexistent), I can give you a free recipe for smoothies.

Yeah, I'm pretty generous, eh?

Anyway, here's what you'll need to make my banana blueberry smoothies:
Makes four 8oz. glasses
  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (I used honey flavored)
  • Milk to taste (based on your consistency preferences
  • Optional: whipped cream
The process is super simple too. All you do is slice the bananas and plop them in the blender...

Then add the blueberries.

And then the Greek yogurt.

Then add some milk (I added milk until it covered the base of the blender) and blend.

Depending on your blender, you'll likely have to mix the ingredients in between "blendings" to make sure the banana slices and blueberries are thoroughly blended.

Ta-da! You have a super simple (and fairly healthy!) smoothie. And if you're a true member of our family, you add whipped cream on top. Especially if you're photographing it.

Enjoy!
