party hardy.

My dad used to (okay he probably still does) say that phrase a lot. Back in middle school--even fifth grade, probably--I thought it was embarassing.

And here I am, in college, using that exact same phrase.

Oh well. Some say hair color gets passed down the family line? I think that weird sayings/phrases get passed down our family.

That's a warning to my future children.

Anyway, let's get back on topic.

This past weekend we had a little celebration for my sister's birthday. The party was a mix of the movie Ponyo, a fiesta, Pinterest (yes, I did go there), and a flashback to our childhood as well.

We had a photobooth (a party must!), lunch, card games, foursquare, and tons of time to chat.

It was quite fun, to say the least.

I got to catch up with some old neighbors (more like sisters) who I haven't seen in years. And the saying's true, some things never change.

Which is a definitely good thing.

    1. Funny enough, the color scheme kinda came out of nowhere (mostly because we decorated with what we had at home!). But I'm glad you like it. And I'm really glad it doesn't look as crazy as I thought it would!

And those cupcakes were yummy...and super sweet! :)
