some things you may or may not know about me.

side by side

Sometimes I think y'all are my best friends. Maybe because you're all that awesome. So uplifting, so kind, and so real--willing to share about yourselves in this seemingly-small-but-oh-so-big-world we call the Internet.

But back to the topic on friends. Since many of you don't actually know me in person (who am I kidding, nobody does except my family seeing as I still haven't shared this little space of mine with friends), you likely don't know many of my quirks + random facts about me.

Or maybe you do + you're just that good?

Anyway, I thought that this would not only be a creative memory challenge for me, but a hopefully somewhat interesting post for you.

Maybe.

We shall find out soon.

You may or may not know that if I could go through college again (aka start over), I'd like to try my hand at graphic design. It's just so fascinating + I wish I had the time and skills to better my blog design.

You may or may not know that my legs feel like wiggly worms when I'm up high.

You may or may not know that I can't stand loud bass-y music playing from cars beside me. You may or may not also know that I like to tell those people (in my mind) that their hearing may or may not be affected negatively because of it.

You may or may not know that I like spicy food. Like spicy-my-lips-are-burning spicy. Not all the time, but once in a while, just to keep my tastebuds happy.

You may or may not know that I crave affirmation + acceptance.

You may or may not know that I never went to one high school dance. Not even prom.

You may or may not know that I'm a lefty. Go fellow left-handers who had to use right-handed desks in school!

You may or may not know that I live at home. I'm in college and I live at home. And I love it. And if you're curious, here's why.

Your turn! I'd love to know something that I may or may not know.

Like seriously, I love these sort of things.

p.s. I was totally inspired to write one of these posts after reading these two blogs.

  1. I love these kinds of posts– I totally might try one now!

I read the link to your post about being homesick at college, and I've been in a pretty similar situation. I liked my roommates (i had 3) but did end up going home every weekend. It's been hard to make friends because of that and because I'm definitely different than most of the kids at school by being a Christian and not drinking/partying. I get homesick so easily too, so I definitely know how you felt, girl!

    1. You definitely should! It was actually a lot of fun to write. And I'd love to read yours!

I'm so glad there's someone else like me out there! Seriously, it makes me feel a little bit less weird. It was definitely hard being in the dorms because of the partying and all that craziness. In the end, I'm kind of glad I'm living at home (definitely cheaper) but I also sorta regret not staying for the year. So props to you for sticking it out the whole year!

Here's to a good school year!
