This week was hot. It's like August didn't quite want to leave. It was either August, or summer.
I'm thinking summer.
I tried to avoid the heat. Here's how I did it:
Picked blackberries + baked + cooked + ate them. My fingertips turned purple and had seeds stuck in my teeth. I blame it on that sweet, sweet smell of overripe berries that pull me in every time I'm in the park. My pants will thank me later (fortunately for me, I haven't worn jeans lately).
I went to Goodwill with my mom. The first time I went, I didn't find anything but this time I scored on three 99 cent ceramic kitchenware. They make great jewelry storage + planters, if you ask me.
I got my IKEA catalog! It took way too long. And I've been holding off on reading through it because I just know it'll be good. Really good.
I started reading some old blogs again. Blogs that I had stopped reading for whatever reason popped into my reading-radar. But it was nice to catch up on everyone's life. Does that make me a blog stalker? Maybe that's a silly question...
