blogs and bloggers.

I know that I have a whole page on my blog dedicated to blogs I love, but sometimes I think these bloggers deserve some extra attention love.

These are the bloggers that I've grown to love, admire, and laugh alongside with. I haven't written this before, but one of my musts for a blog is someone who is imperfect (but after reading my about page you probably knew that already). I like a blogger who has and admits their weaknesses. Someone who doesn't mind their frazzled hair. Someone who sometimes wears the same outfits twice on their blog (a rarity in the blogworld, I tell you). Someone who encourages me to be fearless + trust God.

These are some of my blog requirements, I tell you.

And while I try to live up to my own expectations, I also realize that I'm not perfect.

Anyway, here are a few of my favorite bloggers. They're so awesome I'm pretty sure you've heard of all of them at least one hundred times before.

The Anderson Crew
Emily is seriously hilarious. Even though I'm not a mom, I seriously love her blog. She writes truthfully. She also writes as if you're right there, sitting across from her + swapping stories as her kids play beside you. She's also adopted internationally. Did I mention she's freaking hilarious + looks incredibly young for her age? Because she is/does. And if you read her blog, you should check out her friend, Jami and her blog, as well. She's just as funny + truthful + full of good verses + an advocate for modest dressing, too. The two of them together (especially on instagram) is the best combination ever.

Joy the Baker
Before actually becoming a reader (a big step in the blog world, I tell you), I'd heard of Joy here and there. It took a few clicks + post readings, but now I'm hooked. Her recipes + photos are beautiful (her dad's biscuit recipe is a family fave!). But I love her anecdotes the best. She's full of funny stories that bring you back to middle school memories. And yes, I did just go there. She's also full of encouragement and real advice for ladies like me. Her Notes to Self series is one of my favorite blog series out there.

Under the Sycamore
Everyone knows that Ashley has the best DIY projects, photos, and ideas ever. She seriously reeks of creativity (that's a good thing, in case you're wondering). And ever since she started her adventure in adoption, I've been extra hooked. And truth be told, I actually read her blog last everyday because I like to save the best for last. She's just that awesome.

Enjoying the Small Things
Kelle Hampton is a writing + photography genius. Every time I read one of her posts, I'm left inspired to write and remember the small things. The little moments that seem insignificant but are actually the most important. As someone who has worked with kids of all abilities, I feel oddly connected to bloggers like Kelle. She speaks with truth, something I admire greatly in people. She also reminds me to love everyone, something else I think we all need to be reminded of sometimes.

E Tells Tales
I'm not really sure how I got hooked on Elizabeth's blog, but I really love it. Like all the other bloggers I've chosen, she writes honestly. She also writes beautifully. She's also a teacher. And a stylish one at that. I think I kind of stalk her blog because I comment on so many of her posts. Especially the ones related to blogging and teaching. And if you like cute kids, her son is uber adorable, too.

What are your five fave blogs? I'm a big blog reader (I have like 40+ faves right now) so I'd love to know what blogs/bloggers you stalk read up on!
