real life, lately.

This week was good and a little awkward. Oh wait, that's pretty much every week for me.

I got to exchange some emails with a truly sweet blogger/reader. This girl, to be exact. Just looking at her posts you can tell she's full of fun and she takes some amazing photos, too! And it was such a nice surprise to get an email from her and even better to get to know someone out in blogworld.

I also got the chance to chat with a fellow student teacher. I didn't realize we had so much in common! She even lives near me and has gone to my church. Of course she came at the same time I was teaching Sunday School, but it was cool to get to know her better and it makes me even more grateful for this internship of mine.

I totally embarrassed myself by doing a yoga pose in class while facing the wrong direction. It's hard to explain in words, so just imagine me totally embarrassing myself. Easy enough, right? At least I wasn't the person who fell asleep during class. True story (but it really wasn't me!).

I practically got no sleep last weekend and this week. On both Saturday and Sunday I woke up at six (Why, is beyond me) and on Saturday night I didn't go to sleep until one in the morning. You can bet I'll be sleeping this weekend!

p.s. Aren't sunrises the prettiest? They're definitely the best part about having to wake up early. It also makes you even more grateful for God's creation!
