How was your weekend, friends?
I was surprised to find a few little snowflakes on Saturday. After seeing the snow in the morning all I could think about was how wintry our town is. Cold outdoors but warm, toasty, and oh so festive inside.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here.
On a different note, I just wanted to say that I planned to write a normal real life lately post but I just couldn't get myself to do so with all that happened last week. My heart, my thoughts, and my prayers go out to all the families, teachers, and loved ones of those affected by the shootings (Oregon and Connecticut). As a future teacher, I cannot even imagine how brave and protective those teachers (principal, nurse, and school psychologist) were. I can only hope that I will be as brave and loving towards my students as you were. Thank you to all the teachers who do their jobs well.
