his creation.

Sometimes it takes a few (super cold!) wintry weekend hikes to remind you just how beautiful His creation is.

I don't know if I've told you this before, but I used to hate (as in hate-hate) hiking. It was more torture for me as a child because it was a forced family outing. Throughout middle and high school, I opted to stay home from such outings mostly because of the freedom I had to do as I pleased (aka stay home alone). And even though I'm often the third wheel to my parent's hikes these days, I have to say that I love it. It helps that my crazy dog is there, too but honestly, hiking is now one of my favorite weekend activities. I lug my camera around, snap photos, smile at the passersby (especially if they're cute...) and just enjoy being in His creation. It's quite spectacular, amiright?

And yes, this could quite possibly be one of the most photo-filled posts I've posted in a looonnngg time.

    1. Thank you! That means so much to me! And I love adding verses to my photos, too. I love that it reminds me of the importance of the verse--especially this verse! :)

  2. Hah, forced family outings. YES, OH MY GOODNESS UGH THE HIKING. And in the summers when my relatives would visit, they'd always want to go walk around the neighborhood after dinner which was just TORTURE, because not only was it was like, walking slowly around these houses that my classmates lived in, but it was with a group of like 20 Asians all talking loudly and doing weird arm exercises while they walked.

These pictures are all gorgeous. You are seriously so talented with the camera, and you have a really good eye for seeing the beauty in simple things :)

    1. I love that you get exactly what I mean! And I definitely understand the walking near classmates' houses--especially in large groups with relatives! That was the most embarrassing thing ever growing up! It wasn't until I reached recently I actually felt more comfortable being out and about with my family.

And thank you! That means a lot coming from a girl who knows little to nothing about cameras!
