Aaah! It's 2013! We're already four days into the new year and I feel like I'm already behind. Not a good sign, I tell ya.

Anyway, I'm going to try and savor these last few days before school starts up again (Monday morning, feel free to stay far far away from me). Let's just say I'm not looking forward to waking up in the morning.

But on the bright side, I'm officially going to be spending another term with the preschoolers! I'm not sure how often, but I'll take whatever I can get. I won't be teaching as much either (insert sadface here) but I'll still get to help out here and there and I'm super excited for that.

Back to this last week, though. This week included a lot of eating. Something else that's not so good for my jeans. But you've gotta celebrate on the holidays and thus, eating is mandatory, right?

I also got to catch up with some of my friends/old neighbors/basically sisters. They're pretty amazing and I'm kinda sad that college (and post-grad life) has put us all across the country. But I'm grateful for the little meet-ups we get to have now and then. It always surprises me how we can see each other and feel like nothing's changed. Mostly because nothing major has changed. Except maybe our ages and fashion sense. I think we all dress better than we did as kids.

Anyway, hope your New Year's celebrations were lovely. Full of sparkles, full of fun, and full of clinking cups. Full of apple cider.

At least that's how we party over here.

Happy Weekend!

Oh! And I rode a carousel (hence the photos). It was full of lots of little children (think 4-8 year olds) and their parents. But I'll admit, it was kind of fun. Definitely less embarrassing + more fun when you ride with your friends, though!

  1. This is so cute! I haven't ridden a carousel in years! I always get stuck riding all the big rides these days. If I did get on one I'd probably be snapping pictures just like you did :) True bloggers!

    P.S.- cute top!

    1. True bloggers think alike! I think I forgot to mention that the photos didn't turn out too great because I was spinning around and around and moving up and down constantly. But yes, now you'll have to go find a carousel!

And thanks! It's actually a favorite sweatshirt of mine. :)

  3. Love the pictures! And I definitely know what you mean about having friends that are now spread out all over, but when you get back together, you jump right back to where you last left off. Those friends are the best! :)
