bits and pieces.

viewfrommydesk
view from my messy desk. and yes, those are yoga pants on my desk. at least they're clean!
Totally almost typed butts instead of bits. Whoops. And sorry for all of you new readers and old readers alike, sometimes I have the mind of a third or fourth grader. Just another reason why I was made to be a teacher...

Anyway, here are a few links, lessons, and loves from my week. Be sure to share yours with me, too!

I was asked to be a part of this giveaway and I think you should enter it! Which leads me to this next one: Welcome, new friends! I'm so glad you're here and can't wait to connect with you! Seriously, if you have a blog, let me know in the comments. I love meeting and making new friends!

This is one good looking couple. I think their kids are pretty adorable, too.

In praise of singleness.

I got the warm fuzzies seeing Robin Roberts back at the GMA desk on Wednesday. So good to see her back. I love her heart, her faith, and her perseverance. She's amazing.

Apparently, I've been making cinnamon toast the wrong way. Are you doing it the right way?

This pretty print makes me smile.

I bought a plastic head of lettuce for $50 dollars at the preschool I help out at. The most expensive head of lettuce this girl's ever seen. Good thing the cashier gave me the money to pay for it!

I nodded my head and found a lot of myself in this post.

The perfect curls. If only my thick hair cooperated with a curling iron. If only.

I got to play with a parachute in my PE class for teachers. I know I talk about this class every week, but playing with a parachute brought back so many fun memories. And yes, we all sat under the parachute and giggled like children. Pretending to be a kid is definitely the best preparation for teaching.

My favoritest quote ever.

Have a lovely weekend, friends! See you on Monday.

And thanks, even though it's often messy, I love it, too. There are some days when it's hard to study there because I get so distracted by all of the art/stuff on it!

  11. I had no idea there was a right way to make cinnamon toast! Leave it to the PW to teach us all things good :)

Also, I don't know if you've ever read this article before but I read it a lot back in my single days and we recommend it to college students a lot now. I think its a great article. Paige is now married and is still an amazing Godly woman and speaker but spends most of her time at home as a wife & mom.

    1. I know, I didn't know either! I'm definitely going to have to try out her recipe soon. :)

And I'm definitely going to have to check out that article--it sounds really good. I love reading different people's perspectives and encouraging words on singleness. Thanks for the recommendation and for stopping by!
