bits and pieces.

friday
Happy Friday, friends! We've made it through yet another week. And we're also another week closer to Easter. This Sunday, I'm looking forward to waving fern branches with the preschool class I help teach. Palm Sunday and Easter preparation is so much fun with those kiddos.

As always, here are a few of the bits and pieces from my week:

Here are some super party pretties.

Emma's right, these are full of nostalgia (and frosting!).

I somehow managed to finish up my finals and finished my last term of college as well. I know that I write about this a lot, but it's pretty huge for me right now. It's also a pretty weird feeling, too. Now I just need to figure out if I want to walk or not come June. Thoughts, anyone? I know that I will when I get my Master's degree, I just haven't figured out if I want to with my undergrad, too.

An outfit perfect for spring.

I'm so going to need this book when I become a mom. Please note the word need not want.

You are enough.

Joy makes me want a bunch of bagels asap.

I need to make this for my ever-growing belt collection. Seriously, the tangled mess of belts that start on my dresser and end up on my floor is getting a little annoying these days.

I am officially getting all of my baking recipes from this blog. FYI, the photos are super pretty.

Sprinkles + Easter eggs. Such an odd yet interesting combination, don't ya think?

This is pretty much my personal motto.

I've been enjoying the sunshine lately and cannot get enough of it. Afternoon walks with the dog, soaking up the sunlight that streams through the window, and watching the sunsets are my new favorite things.

I've painted my thumbtacks, but I'm thinking this is an even better idea!

Even though St. Patrick's Day has come and passed, this is still a super pretty DIY (and their blog is gorgeous, too!).

And a new to me blog with super pretty photos and a super sweet lady behind the blog, too!

Have a great one! I'm finally going to be able to soak up the sun without feeling guilty about my studies. Hopefully the sunshine decides to stick around, too!

    1. Yes! It definitely is true. And I'm thinking I need to hang it on my bedroom wall now! :)

    1. Thanks, friend! I loved making them and I definitely recommend it! They were super easy and they're way prettier (at least in my opinion) than the plain thumbtacks. :)

  3. Walking is a tough choice. I went to a tiny school so I felt like I had to walk...and for my family, they really wanted to see me walk. If I went to a huge school I probably would not have walked though...Graduations are sometimes boring and I would have wanted to spare everyone. :) Also--my school was a private Christian school so the graduation ceremony was very inspirational, I don't regret it. :)

    1. That's definitely how I see it! If I went to a smaller school (with a much shorter ceremony) I probably would feel more inclined to. I guess I'm just not interested in sitting for hours and hours. :) But then I also don't want to regret not walking. Decisions, decisions, right? :)

And your college sounds awesome! Going to a Christian school sounds like such a great experience! :)

    1. Thanks! I've had them for awhile now actually and while I don't wear them nearly as often as I'd like (mostly because of the rainy weather lately!), they're still probably my favorite pair of flats.

    1. Spring is such a fun season and it's quickly becoming one of my faves (although, I really do love them all now that I think about it!). Especially because of Easter. And sorry for making you hungry! Those links definitely made my mouth water, too! :)

  6. Kiki,
You are so kind! And, by the way, I loved walking at my college graduation-- and master's degree grad-- but oddly enough I remember *nothing* about the grad one-- isn't that crazy? Goodness! It wasn't *that* long ago, cough cough. Even though the service was long, I just remember celebrating with all of my pals afterwards-- loved that college graduation!

    1. Well, I HAD to spread the word on your blog, it's way too amazing not to!

And that's so funny that you don't remember the grad school graduation! I have a terrible memory so I probably won't remember much either, but walking does sound more tempting the more that I think about it and talk about it with my teachers and peers! :)

      Have a great weekend!
