CURRENTLY...

daisy
Enjoying spring. Spring colors, clothes, and weather. Have I mentioned how much I missed the sunshine?

Praying about direction, patience, obedience, and perseverance. Big words and big things to tackle for this girl over here.

Snacking on Greek yogurt and frozen bananas. It's one of my favorite breakfasts and something that I've been craving a lot lately.

Debating whether or not I want to cut my hair. It's getting long (for me at least) and I'm thinking a trim is much needed right now. That is, until I put my hair up in top knot. Then, I feel like a cool kid (or a cool blogger) and want to keep my long thick locks. Decisions, decisions.

Reading the book of Hebrews and this book, too.

Grateful for the chance to relax. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but having a short (or will it be long?) transition time to do so is going to be lovely. That is, until I get bored!

Thinking about a new blog name. I have a few ideas going around in my head and am going to pray over which one God wants me to use. When I decide, I'll be sure to tell you the story/verse behind it!

Listening to Phil Wickham. His music is beautifully written, beautifully sung, and beautifully composed.

Feeling full. My heart is full from all of the blog love I've received recently. My soul is full from all of the wisdom and encouragement I've gotten from my Bible studying and prayer journaling (more on that here). I'm also feeling literally full after eating a huge dinner and dessert last night. Living at home has it's perks, friends!

What's up with you currently? Feel free to fill me in with what's been going on with your life lately!

And yes, I have been LOVING Hebrews. I'm at the end now and am kind of sad it's ending but glad that I get to read James next (one of my fave books). :)

    1. I've been thinking about changing it to something more faith or Bible verse related. I'm still debating though because I don't want to have to change my url and email and all that. So we'll see!

But thanks for telling me it's cute and hip! I rarely hear that about something of mine! :)

  3. Life is good!! Changing your blog name seems like a lot of work, but I understand where you're coming from. I am loving the sunshine lately, but I have snow still so it doesn't feel like spring yet.

    1. I'm glad you understand! Sometimes I feel like I should and then I go back to thinking about all of the changes I would have to make to go through it. But I think that if I ever find something that is worth that extra effort, I'll go through with it. :)

And hooray for sunshine! That's crazy that you have snow, too! :)

    1. Yes! I completely agree. I have a few of his songs but I'm thinking I might have to get a few more.

And yes, it really is a good feeling! And thanks, but I think you're super inspiring, too! And I'm not even kidding about that one. :)

    1. Thanks, girl! It's something I haven't really felt in awhile, so it's exciting for me, too! And I'm not sure if I've mentioned it or not, but I'm so glad to have discovered your blog! I'm loving how honest and heartfelt you are. :)

    1. Thanks, girl! It was a random photo I took a week or two ago and I was actually holding my camera at ground level (I wasn't looking through the viewfinder) and was just hoping it would turn out all right. It was definitely a lucky shot! :)

    1. It's addicting, right? I'm seriously obsessed with it right now. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves it! :)

  8. Love this post! I might be stealing it :) I've tried so hard to get into greek yogurt but first off, the texture is strange for me, and secondly most of the flavors have the fruit at the bottom and I HATE chunks in my yogurt. It's seriously the grossest thing to me! I'm limited in my yogurt brands/flavors because of that but luckily yoplait saves the day most of the time :)

Oh, and I can't wait to hear more about a new blog name! So exciting!

    1. The texture is definitely different! I've never actually tried the kind with fruit on the bottom. Oddly enough, that was my favorite kind of yogurt as a kid (is this the first thing we don't have in common?). :) Anyway, yoplait is definitely a good one--I still have it every now and then. :)

And you should do a post like this! They're a lot of fun to create.

And yes! I'm still thinking about the change (mostly because of all the changes I might or might do as a result of it) but I'm excited about it, too!

  9. I need direction, patience, obedience, and perseverance, too. Amongst many other things... ahhh. I am finding myself in a place of deep desperation. I KNOW that nothing else will satisfy besides Jesus... it just feels like I am in a "dry and weary land" right now... thank you for sharing dear...
