a new fave.

I know I say this about a lot of things I discover, but I'm really taking a liking to spring this time around. There's something about the bright blue skies, vibrant flowers, and sunshine that has won me over.

Then again, I also love bright white snow, summer sunsets, and crisp leaves get me, too. I guess you could say there's something about every season I love.

Except bugs. Those I could do without!

Anyway, here are a few springy (aka flowery) photos that I took last week. And even though they're nothing special, I thought they were too pretty not to share.

That, and I didn't want to post another wordy-post.

Again.

Happy spring! What's your favorite season or your favorite part about spring?

p.s. Can you tell I was obsessed with those purple flowers? Like obsessed. And I don't even know what they are.

  1. your photos are beautiful...seriously!
Also bugs=no dice! i loathe mosquitoes but we get them all the dang time!
    I love purple flowers too!
    I'm rambling. :)
Favorite part of spring? The start of brighter nights...i hate coming home when it is dark so spring is awesome! Other than that...hmm being able to be outside without it being sweltering hot like it will be in a month/two months ha.

    1. Aw, thanks! Except I think you're being a little too nice with those words of yours. :)

And I'm all for rambling. I do it all the time and I'm glad I'm not the only one!

How could I forget the brighter evenings? They make walking the dog that much better--except for the fact that I kinda have a cranky dog who barks a lot, especially when he can see other dogs. But yes, hooray for lighter evenings!

And as a girl who lives in the Pacific Northwest, I'm with you on the cooler temps right now and the heat thing, although you can probably stand hotter temps than me! :)

    1. Thanks!! It's funny that I post these photos today because it's literally been pouring all day. But I guess as they say it, April showers bring May flowers (and an unhappy Kiki, too!). :)

    1. I know, the flowers are GORGEOUS right now! If only the weather agreed (it's been raining like crazy today where I live!).

And I'm totally with you on the fresh flowers thing, they definitely liven up a house! :)

  6. I think they're crab-apple blossoms...could be wrong. ;) But thank you for sharing these beautiful blossoms of springtime! It still feels like the *long* winter here in Pgh, & temps only got up to around 45 today. :/
BUT spring always comes after winter. And I can't wait to see new life & gorgeous flowers!

    1. Thanks for letting me know! They could very well be crab-apple blossoms! I'm going to have to look them up now. :)

And no problem! Sorry to hear about the wintery weather over where you live! If it makes you feel any better, it's been showering (aka pouring) a lot this week and it seems to be in the forecast for awhile. So much for the early summer weather! :)

Here's hoping spring (aka sunny) weather makes its debut across the nation soon!
