RE-PINNING FRENZY.

So normally I don't talk about Pinterest on here--okay, so maybe that's a lie--but I think this pin is worth it. And it wasn't just the pin that spoke to me on Saturday, but it was the reaction I received after pinning it that surprised me.

That pin speaks truth, right? I read it on Saturday night after recovering from a case of baby fever (which I pretty much always have, but sometimes the fever spikes higher than others). After pinning it, I continued to scroll through my feed and noticed ten minutes later in the Recent Activity sidebar that 35 followers had repinned it and 10 had liked it.

And that's when I took a step back. Not because I was shocked that so many people had pinned it, but because so many people pinned it because they needed the same reminder I did.

A reminder that no matter the circumstance, we belong to someone who loves us. He accepts us, He loves us, and He wants to call us His own. We don't need success, money, or romance to know what love and happiness are because His love is unfailing, never ending, and always there for us.

We belong to Him. We matter. We are needed and wanted.

And that is something I take great comfort in today.

And as cheesy as it is to write it, I have to because it's true and something that I need to read and remember on a daily basis: Jesus loves you, friends!

  1. YES! This truth has been on my mind lately...no matter what stage of life you're in, sometimes you just need this reminder. And baby fever? Been there...but that made me smile because this morning I was up EARLY with my baby and all I could think was how much I would love a day off!!

    1. Well said, well said! It definitely is something that I feel like I need to hear and remind myself of now more than I did as a kid, I think!

And yeah, baby fever is something I pretty much always have. But I'm pretty sure I would love days off as well if I were a mom! :)

    1. It's definitely a good reminder and it's so relatable as well. Sometimes I worry that I'm the only one who has those feelings of loneliness and insecurity, but it's times like these that I'm reminded that I'm not alone because I have friends like you and God, too! :)

    1. It's definitely a great reminder! And part of the reason I loved this pin so much was because it relates to a lot of struggles that I've had. I am so glad we have Him to lean on! :)

  5. Amen! It's never ever too cheesy to remind us that Jesus loves us :) Definitely needed to read that reminder. Lately I've been struggling so hard with school but knowing I have the Lord to lean upon helps SO much!

    1. I admit, it sounded a little cheesy to type it but that doesn't mean I don't need to hear it, read it, and be reminded of it daily!

Praying for ya girl! I remember those crazy school days (wow, that makes me sound really old). But thank goodness we have a God who we can always depend on! :)

    1. Trust me, I have to remind myself, too! I've actually had Jason Gray's Remind Me Who I Am stuck in my head this past week or so--such a good reminder who I find my identity in and who loves me no matter what I say or do. :)

    1. Yes, it is--even for me! I always love it when people read some of my old posts because it gives me a chance to re-read what I've written and remind myself of where I was and where I am today. :)
