blueberry bowl
Happy Friday, friends! How was your 4th of July? Mine is usually pretty low-key, but I love the time to celebrate our country with my family--and good food, of course!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! And as always, here are the bits + pieces from my week:

10 popsicle recipes to try this weekend.

On ordinary life.

She put my exact feelings + thoughts into words.

I'd like a cakestand now, thankyouverymuch.

This easy doorway makeover is my fave.

I'm pretty (read: really) excited to start She Reads Truth's Women of the Word study. I always love reading about the amazing women in the Bible and have been hoping to find a devotional that focuses on them. So you could say that I cannot wait for it to start!

I kinda wanna make this necklace.

On being good enough. Love this post and this friend, too!

I want a backyard porch party now.

I started running again. I took a two-week break and I'm really feeling the effect not running has on my body. Let's just say I'm dedicated to running again!

I have yet to make one, but these tips + tricks for instagram videos make me excited to try it out.

On judging and perspectives.

Love this cake.

And this kitchen, too.

I'm thinking about switching over to Passionfruit Ads. For all of you Passionfruit-ers, do you love it? Is it worth the switch? And for all you swappers, is it too much of a hassle to ask you to swap using the site?

Nicole's new blog makeover is adorable (and so is her family!).

What a fun (and yummy) neighborhood get-together idea!

So this looks really, really, really good right now.

  1. I like passionfruit, it's nice cause you can customize your different ad spots and they manage the ad's for you! We use it over on the Quiet Place.

    1. Thanks for your input! I'm still wavering between using Passionfruit or not, but I really like the fact that they manage the buttons for you! I just might have to consider using it! :)

  2. Mmm, makes me want some blueberries!

    1. Photos of berries ALWAYS makes me want some--even if I've just had some! :)

  3. Yum. Popsicles! I must try these... LOVE that excerpt from Max Lucado on living the common life. Really something to think about...Those cake stands are fabulous! Thanks for the link love girl! I love being your bloggy friend too. :) Thanks for all your support... That back porch party is the cutest!... Girl, you are so great! I can't even muster the strength to workout these days--I need some motivation? That fringe cake is adorable I need a reason to make it! And that post about judging is spot on.. I'm loving that Flourish blog, I will have to add it to my list.

    1. Girl, I agree with you 100% on everything you just said! I'm especially thankful that we're bloggy friends!

And when it comes to workout motivation, let's just say it's lacking these days with the hot weather (I'm a wimp when it comes to hot weather unfortunately!). My motivation these days actually comes from instagram of all places. It's when I don't feel like running that I see someone's instagram of their athletic shoes or their pre or post-workout selfie. So I guess instagram is my motivator...haha. :)

I'm so glad you love Flourish's blog! I love how short + sweet their posts are and how the speak right to my soul. It's a dream of mine to attend one of their retreats someday!
