GRATEFUL.

grateful
I'm grateful for electricity that supplies cold air to cool me off.

I'm grateful for movies that tear my heartstrings and make me want to go back to school for social work (this movie, to be exact).

I'm grateful for my dog that wakes me up in the morning.

I'm grateful for the citrus-y smell of limes.

I'm grateful for books that inspire me.

I'm grateful for amazing sermons at church.

I'm grateful for hair that's long enough to braid.

I'm grateful for homemade chocolate zucchini cake.

I'm grateful for early morning hikes.

I'm grateful for Thai food. Enough said.

I'm grateful for Mondays, which remind me that every day is a brand new day.

I'm grateful for God, who created all of these things and forgives my all too often ungrateful heart.

These are a few of the things I'm grateful for this weekend. What are you grateful for today?

p.s. If you're new here, here's a list of what I love and these are ten things that make me happy.

    1. Thanks girl! And um, you're pretty darn encouraging yourself! I'm always in love with your joyfulness and your photos, too. Especially how you always remember to use and create negative space (i.e. sky) in your photos. They're beautiful!

    1. It really is a great book--I've loved how much it makes me think and re-think my attitude. And even though it's been a little repetitive, I've loved how it always come back to being grateful for all that God's blessed me with. And it was actually the link-up that you and Elizabeth did that convinced me to read this book! :)

And I cried through October Baby, too! It definitely was a beautiful story and it's really worked me heart in terms of forgiveness!

  7. New to your blog! :)

I love this list! And check out your list of things you love. There are so many that I agree with, especially loving to wear cardigans, scarves, and ballet flats! That is me everyday!
Also, I have seen October Baby yet, but I've heard good things about it and I'm pretty sure they just put it on Netflix. So, I'm definitely going to have to check it out. :)
