BITS & PIECES.

heartfridays
Happy Friday, friends! I was lucky enough to walk right by that heart-shaped rock. And with my camera in hand, let's just say it was calling my name and the blogger in me knew that it would make a cute photo for a bits & pieces post. #bloggerproblems

Anyway, I'm changing it up with my bits & pieces this week. I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with this format, but I've always loved Elizabeth + Megan's weekend posts so I thought I would try my hand at my own version--but bits & pieces style!

What you may have missed this week:
This month's 10 on 10.
Meet the lovely ladies behind those buttons on my sidebar.
What I did last weekend.
The song that's moved me and helped me through these past few months.

What made me smile this week:
Yet another lovely lovely (and fun!) wedding.
Praying with a fellow Sunday School teacher. Prayer is powerful, amen?
This pin. Read it. Just read it.
5 tips for capturing emotion in photos.
Seeing some of my favorite kiddos that I babysit. Love those kiddos.
Patience is everything.

Favorite posts from my favorite blogs:
If you have a few minutes, watch this video. I promise you won't regret it.
The lies in our heads.
On beauty (and a free desktop wallpaper download!).
Let go and let God (love this girl + her heart!).

What I want to make this weekend:
This yummy smoothie.
These easy ponytail alternatives.
These amazing cupcakes.

Top 5 pins of the week:
1. Decorate your home by numbers.
2. Wise words to remember.
3. A cute little home tour.
4. A hairstyle to try this weekend.
5. This pretty instagram or photo wall idea.

Have a great one!

    1. I know, those are my faves, too! :) And thanks! I have a tendency to try new things with my blog design so it ends up changing every month or so (yep, it's a bad habit). So thank you for telling me you like it--sometimes words of affirmation like that are exactly what I need to start my day off right. :)

    1. Honestly, I do, too (I think). I was getting a little bored with the other format, but I think I'll likely end up going back to my old format from now on--just had to try something new to see if it worked for me! :)

  3. eep! I like this layout - but i like the other too.
I think it's good to switch things up every now and then, it helps you not become stagnant and keeps the creative juices flowing!

    Great links today!

    1. Haha, I like them both, too. You're right though, it is nice to switch things up, even if it means I might switch back in the end (the old format seems easier for this girl over here!). :)

    1. Thanks, girl! I'm still unsure if I'm going to keep this format (the old one is easier for me) but I liked switching things up and probably will every now and then just for fun.

And YES! Make that instagram wall! Then I can include it in my bits and pieces post! :)

    1. Well, thank YOU for the inspiration! I do like both formats, too but I think I'll probably stick with my original format because it's so much easier for me to make. :)
