OCTOBER SWAP FEATURE.

Happy October, friends! I'm taking the day off from blogging today and am instead letting the lovely ladies who are calling my blog their home (of sorts) this month. Today, we're talking Halloween candy because, well, Halloween's coming up soon(ish).

Anyway, these ladies are a real treat--no pun intended--to swap and work with this month and I hope you'll take the time to fall in love with their blogs, too!

What's your favorite Halloween candy or sweet treat?

Amy: I've found a new Halloween candy obsession this year...caramel candy corn. It's beyond amazing!  I may or may not have a bag hidden in my car where my littles won't find it.

Charity: My favorite treat for Halloween is definitely sweet potato pie. I know that sounds odd but because Halloween is a fall holiday I do a lot of baking around that time. At my church we celebrate Holyween and have a night for the children called trunk or treat. All the adults park their cars and open up their trunks to give away candy and other goodies to the kids. I always gave them baked goods, and mini sweet potato pies was a favorite of mine and theirs.

Jenn: My fave treats are gummi worms!

Jennifer: My favorite Halloween candy is the caramel apple pop! Both sweet and sour. (:

Susanne: In the Netherlands, we don't celebrate Halloween. But when we still lived in the US it was my favorite holiday, since we got to dress up. My favorite candy would be the candy corn. I love love love those and it really sucks that I can't get them here in the Netherlands. Maybe one day, when I am back in the States during Halloween, I can actually eat them again. It's been forever.

So tell me, what is your favorite Halloween candy? I was never a trick-or-treater, but that doesn't mean I don't like to eat Sour Patch Kids...

And if you'd like to swap with me in November, there are still three spots left! I'm unsure if I'll be continuing swaps after November, so now's your chance to claim your spot!

p.s. Did you know today's the last day to enter the Lilla Rose giveaway? Hurry and enter now before I announce the winner on Friday!

    1. Yum! I was just replying to another person's comment and I can't believe I forgot about them! It so makes me want one right now.

And you know, I'm actually unsure about swapping right now. I love it, but I'm just praying that I'll have the time to do that on top of all of my other blogging stuff right now. I'm still praying and thinking about it! :)

    1. Ooh, sounds good! Except, I'm allergic to peanuts so I actually don't know what those taste like, haha. :)

And thanks girl! I love being able to introduce people to other blogs and have met some amazing bloggers through it so it's definitely been rewarding. Unfortunately, I'm filled for November. :( I'm thinking about switching things up, though, so I'll let you know all about it (it could possibly include you, my friend!). :)

If there is chocolate around, I will eat it. But, Reese's any time of year is my weakness!

    1. I know, right? My mom found flavored candy corn earlier this year (I think it was pumpkin flavored). I'll admit, I was skeptical at first, but now I'm changed because plain old candy corn isn't the same! :)

    1. Yeah, I know! I've tried caramel apple candy corn and pumpkin candy corn but have yet to try plain caramel candy corn. Sounds good, right?

And I totally got your letter in the mail last week but forgot to tell you until now. That was seriously the sweetest note ever! :)
