BITS AND PIECES.

apples

Happy November, friends! I hope your Halloween festivities were fun, safe, and full of chocolate and sweet treats. Did you dress up? Hand out candy for trick-or-treaters? I was pretty lame and just ate some candy, handed out some glowsticks and candy, and then watched TV in my pajamas.

Although if you really want to know, I don't think that's really that lame at all.

Happy weekend, friends! Here are the bits and pieces from my week, with lots of links to enjoy this weekend.

On taking risks and saying no to the phrase, "I wish I could pull that off."

Loved this post where Anna shares why she almost quits blogging every month. It was a good read and it showed me that as bloggers, we all struggle with balance between documenting everything and living life blog-free.

On saying no (aka something I'm trying to put into practice).

An autumn twist on the old summertime lemonade stand.

Tips for blogging on a busy schedule.

Our apple trees this year have been nothing short of amazing. Huge, crisp, juicy apples straight from the tree? Yes, please.

These prints are way too cute.

I say this every year, but I so want polka dot tights. And now instead of looking for some at the store, I think I might just DIY them. Do you own or have you DIY-ed polka dot tights before?

This girl's gift guides are spot on.

I want to try making this or maybe this this weekend.

I think I jinxed myself last week by saying that it's cold season. Because guess what? I have a scratchy throat and am noooot loving it right now.

A great life rule to live by--let's just say I'm also guilty of breaking it.

This song. So, so, so good.

7 ways to wear chambray this fall. Now I just need a chambray shirt!

Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

p.s. I know I linked to this last week, but I finally signed up for Elizabeth and Samantha's Christmas Swap. Have you signed up yet? If not, there's still time!

p.p.s. I'm crossing my finger's that The Circle will be up and running for the month of November come next Wednesday! So stay tuned for more info!

    1. I feel the same way about those polka dot tights--but according to the post, they're a lot easier than they seem! Plus, if they're small enough dots, it really doesn't have to be perfect at all. :)

And I'm glad you're excited about The Circle! I still have to write the post for it, but I'm excited, too.

    1. I know, right? I always worry at the beginning of the week that I won't find enough links to include in my bits and pieces posts. But the blogging community never fails because I always find great reads--yours included! :)

  3. Sounds like we had a very similar night last night--eating candy, answering the door, and watching movies in my pj's. It was wonderful! :)
