December 25, 2013

I wasn't planning on posting anything this morning as I know many of my fellow blogging friends have decided to take a blogging break this week. But, I wanted to wish you all the merriest of Merry Christmases and I hope you're all spending time with loved ones celebrating Jesus' birthday.

Because really, He is the best gift of all.

And on a more serious note, I'm really letting that truth sink in this year. Normally I'll say it or teach it to the preschoolers at my church, but it has really tugged at my heart this year and I'm more grateful (and content and trusting) than I have been in a loooong time.

So Merry Christmas friends and a Happy New Year!

  1. I hope you had a lovely Christmas friend! <3
and yes - I'm with you - reflecing on the JOY that is Christ!

    1. Me, too! It looks like you had a lot of good celebrating with family--I loved you + your brother's matching pajamas, by the way! And you said it, joy really and truly does come from Christ. :)

  2. <3 I hope you had an amazing Christmas, dear girl!

    1. Same goes to you! I hope you and Nate had a wonderful Christmas!

  3. Hi Kiki! I just found your blog and think it is really cute. It is sweet to know there are other bloggers out there who care to post about simple topics in life and live their lives for the Lord. God is certainly worthy of our total commitment and praise and living wholeheartedly for Him is worth it.

Please check out my blog which has articles, etc. on a variety of topics including: "Purity", "God's word", "Trials and Hardship", "Marriage", "Self Esteem", "The Importance of Family", "Is Jesus the Only Way?", "Self-Injury", "Homosexuality", and "Quotes."

    Thank you so much!
