BITS AND PIECES.

flowering quince
Soo...Spring Break flew by! Honestly, how is it Friday already? I'm telling you, the weeks that we want to go by the slowest always zip on by. I guess the old saying "time flies when you're having fun" speaks a lot of truth.

Anyway, Happy Friday, friends and I hope you all have a splendid weekend!

These Easter bunnies made me smile.

And these gift tags are perfect for spring.

Which female comedian are you? According to this quiz, I'm most like Mindy Kaling and I am so happy with my results!

One cake, three ways. These ideas are seriously easy and yet so pretty at the same time. It also makes me want to scream, "Why didn't I think of that?"

I want a studio like this!

And I kind of really love/want this bag, too.

My mom and sister were out of town this past week which meant a few more chores than normal. Let's just say I'm glad they're back (in more ways than one!).

On saying YES to the unknown. Love this post, this girl, and these words.

6 ways you can practice photography if you don't have kids (or other ideas for those of you with kiddos, too!).

On intentions and God's great love.

So excited about for these guys and their products in Target! Sidenote: they were also the very first blog I ever read!

55 ideas for self-care.

Many of you mentioned that your weather's been quite bipolar lately and I completely agree now! We had nearly 70 degree weather (as in 70 degrees!) on Monday and ever since we've had lovely showers and windy rainfall since. I guess we're just gearing up for those April showers. Is anyone else experiencing bipolar weather?

One of the wisest birthday posts I've read in a loooong time.

I want to live here, don't you?

Good (and wise!) thoughts on the blogging industry. First of all, I rarely think of blogging as an industry--let alone consider myself a part of it! But it is and this post really made me think of how amazing the blogworld is and it's also made me think about worth and how one puts a value on their blog. Hashtag: blog post in the making.

Speaking of blogging, this post was spot on. Spot on.

I want all of these shoes. I mean, a girl can't have too many pairs of shoes, right?

On being gracious when you're jealous.

This would be perfect for a springtime party.

Let it go. Just let. it. go.

A super cute outfit to welcome spring.

And how we should be viewing our kids, our students, our friends, and neighbors. Man, this guy is inspirational.

Have a great one!

    1. Oh, thank you, friend! I've been dying to take photos of this flowering quince bush(?) that's near my work and I finally got a chance to last week.

And I honestly feel the same way when it comes to your photos and your instagrams. I honestly feel like you've got one of the greatest eyes for detail and nature photography out there. We have GOT to take photos together sometime! :)

    1. Yay, I'm glad you like them! I really cannot take any credit for them, though, because they're all just finds that I've found while reading blogs or scrolling through Pinterest. :) But they really are great links, right?

  5. Did you surprise your mom and sister with a clean house? Or was it more like, hey, glad you're back....the house missed you too.

    1. Haha, kind of both, to be honest! I kept up the house and baked a cake, but let's just say that I was kind of (super!) happy to have them back and have a few more people around to help out with the cleaning and cooking! :)

  6. I got Tina Fey, which even though I'm flattered I find complete incorrect. The answer says "You are the queen of turning awkward into awesome" but I think I'm still at the turning awkward into more awkward phase ;)

Great round up, thanks for all the happy clicking.

    1. Haha, that sounds like me, too! There's something about me and awkward situations that just like to get more awkward. :) So glad I'm not alone!

And thanks for stopping by and clicking! They really are great links, aren't they?

    1. I know, right? I saw those ideas and kept asking myself why I didn't think of that before. The ideas were way too brilliantly simple! And as for the studio, blog post, and shoes, I'm with you! I've been on the lookout for some springier flats and just might have to go shopping now, haha. :) Happy Monday to you, too!
