BITS AND PIECES.

cherries
Happy Friday, friends! It's the weekend (hip, hip hooray!) and I'm pumped for the chance to enjoy the springy weather and count down the days until Easter. Do you have any plans for that?

This. is. awesome.

How to style your graphic tees.

11 secrets to cleaning your tech devices.

Someone want to make and send me a batch of these lemony cookies?

50 ways to love life.

The sun has been shining and I honestly am in heaven. The kids love it, I love it, and while the classroom is stuffy and warm, its given me a little glimpse into summer and I couldn't be happier with that!

A milk + cookies birthday party is my fave.

Well, that and a farmer's market birthday party, too.

And how to love a blogger. Looooved this post.

I'm thinking I need to spend some time reading through these posts...

This April Fool's Day prank made me giggle.

I am so very, very excited about this movie. So very, very excited (and you should be, too!).

And this book sounds like a total life-changer, too.

I've been thinking about buying some sort of Photoshop program and would likely invest in something like Photoshop Elements since it's more affordable and I've seen tons of Pinterest tutorials for blog design, too. Do you own a photo-editing program? If so, which one do you have and would you recommend it?

A new-to-me blog that I know you'll love.

And some stunning photos to make you excited for Spring.

I don't have any tattoos (and don't see myself getting one at the moment), but I looove the way this girl's tattoos look with her wedding dress.

Cute study-session outfits. Also known as cute Kiki's everyday outfits...

These photos. Swoon.

50 ways to decorate your Easter eggs. Speaking of which, do you decorate eggs? I have maybe once or twice, but seeing all these cute ideas makes me want to do it again!

Happy Weekend!

    1. Okay, so this'll totally show how much terribly naive I am at all of the different Photoshop products because I don't even know what the CC stands for, haha. :) But I've heard good things about a lot of Photoshop products and have wanted to do more with my blog designs and photo editing and I've heard good things about Elements, so I might go with that since it's a one-time purchase and I've seen some blog design tutorials using it, too! You'll have to let me know what you think of Photoshop CC! It sounds like a great deal!

And I'm glad you liked these links! I looooved those photos and that post on loving bloggers, too. I honestly couldn't have said what that blogger wrote better (how's that for a vague sentence?). :)

  3. OOO get Lightroom! AND since you're a teacher you get a discount! We bought mine when The Hubs was getting his Masters, so we qualified for the "student" discount. I use Lightroom so much! And I obtained Photoshop Elements when I purchased a Bamboo tablet... it came with it. For photo editing, Lightroom!!!! For graphics, Photoshop. ;)

    1. I've heard of their teacher/student discounts before! I've actually thought of getting Lightroom but wasn't sure if it would be worth the money. I know some Photoshop programs are, but is Lightroom a pay per month subscription kind of deal? I really want to use a Photoshop program to give my blog designs a boost and was thinking that something like Elements would be a good start (especially since I have NO experience with their programs!).

That said, I've actually contemplated getting a tablet for creating my own fonts, too (can you tell how long of a wishlist I've got going?). :) I think I've got some researching to do now... :)

Thanks for the input! I really love hearing what people have to say about products and such!

    1. I know, right? He really did feel terrible and his heart was probably racing and he was probably really regretting his class rule. It definitely is a good thing he was a good sport about it all! :)

Ooh, thanks for letting me know what Photoshop you have! I've been doing a lot of thinking and while I don't think I'll actually research/buy something until this summer (when I'll have more time), I'm looking forward to reading more about all of them. :)
