  1. you are so beautiful! your joyful spirit is so enaging...even in just photos! also, you put glitter in your playdough??? how much? i'd love to try that with my kids but worry the glitter will just stick to their hands and not stay in the dough.

    1. Aw, thank you so much! Seriously, that means so much to me (especially coming from someone so pretty and stunning like yourself!). :)

And I do put glitter in my playdough. It's something that I've always done and I love the sparkly aspect to it. I put maybe a two teaspoons or so (I just kind of sprinkle it in and eyeball it) and then knead it into the dough. I've found that it actually sticks to/with the dough really well and haven't had any problem with the glitter sticking to hands or table surfaces or anything. :)

  2. Those scones look ah-mazing! :) And, your selfie is beautiful! I may post too many photos of myself on my blog....but the main reason I do, is because I LOVE seeing photos of bloggers! The more pictures I see of the face behind the blog, the better connected I feel! Never be ashamed of selfies!

    1. They really are! I don't know where my mom got the recipe, but we've used it for a few years now and it's something I always look forward to her making in the spring/summertime. :)

And I agree! I always feel weird taking the photos since I live at home and there's never a quiet moment for me to take photos of myself without someone finding me (my dog included, haha). :) I guess I just need to get over that since I'm a blogger and that's pretty much a necessity for us, right? :) But yes, photos of bloggers definitely make it easier for us to connect!

    1. Aw, thanks! I always feel weird taking the photo of myself but I also kick myself in the rear for not having more photos of myself/my family on my blog. :) And YES, I was bummed I couldn't see you either! I still had a wonderful time chatting with you and cannot wait for the next one. :)

    1. Thanksss! :) And yes, I do make my own playdough! I honestly love it way more than the store-bought/brandname variety and it's so easy to make! I've actually thought about sharing the recipe and I think I will someday soon. I've always thought it would be weird to share stuff like that on my blog, but I've got fellow teachers and moms reading so, why not? Plus, it's my blog, right? :)

    1. Same! I used to think they looked weird as a kid so I never really noticed how pretty they really are. I'm still kind of particular about the variety, but that pink one won me over. :) And ZITS is one of my favorite comics, too! My parents still get the paper each morning and whenever I get a chance, it's the comic I make sure to read. :)
