SPRING THINGS.

If you couldn't tell, I've been doing a little bit of window shopping. But in my defense, spring is getting to me! All of these flowers and pretty bright colors are catching my eye--both in the garden and in the stores, apparently. So yes, as you can tell, I am a wee bit obsessed with stripes, florals, and pinks right now. Pattern mixing is my new best friend.

What are you obsessed with? What are your latest fave fashion trends? Are you window shopping for anything in particular this spring?

  1. Love love love ALL these things! Especially those pink flats and that cute bag. Now I'm feeling like I need to go on a spring shopping spree. It's finally stopped snowing here for a few days so I'm hoping spring is actually on it's way!

    1. Haha, I know, right? I've wanted and have had my eye on these things for awhile now but haven't actually purchased any of them yet. I keep eyeing those flats in particular and just might have to get them (especially since they fit my budget, too!). :)

    1. That's a brilliant idea! It could be some sisterhood of the traveling pants (or bloggerhood of the traveling closet!). :) My sisters and I are oddly about the same size so we've actually swapped clothes before and I love that we can! :)

  4. I LOVE the maxi dress thing that's been going on. They are sooo easy, you look put together, and all the patterns are just fun. :)

Your window shopping was successful! I especially like the black skirt, the striped shirt, and that bag!!!

    1. Same! I've wanted a maxi skirt for ages now and think I might have to get one for this spring or summer. I keep telling myself to get one and always regret that I haven't. But they really are easy and fun, right? I love the versatility of them and that they've also seemed to last a few seasons (I love timeless in terms of my closet!). :)

And it really was successful--although, not so much on the actual purchasing part. At least not yet! :)

    1. I'm loving that you love my picks! Sometimes I worry about posting things like this because I never know if people will like them, haha. But now I just need to budget them in and buy them. I keep telling myself to before they're sold out, but alas, I haven't. Maybe this post is going to get me to hit purchase instead of just keeping them in the shopping bag online... :)

  6. I'm not normally big on pastels for my own personal wardrobe, spring or otherwise, but I love the #9 top! It's springy and light without being toooooo silly.

    1. I'm the same way! I've been drifting towards lots of greys and whites lately but have been pushing myself to buy things that are timeless and different from what I've currently got. That tank top is one of my faves from the collection, too! Definitely springy without being too weird or cliche in terms of spring clothes. :)

    1. Really? I've looked at those flats for some time but worry that they'll fall apart or something since they're so affordable. I'm definitely going to have to look into them because they look so cute and fun! :)

  10. Love it all :)
The flats and the bag are so cute!
    Love the skirt too!

    1. Same!!! I love the color of the flats and the stripes + cognac combination on the bag. Oh, and that skirt is something I've wanted for a few years now (or however long they've been in style). I'm thinking this might be the year that I actually get one! :)

  11. Maybe chambray is more of a fall thing- but I think I need one this spring for shorts and sandals this summer! :)

I love the flats.....and that bag! So cute!

    1. If you ask me (not that I'm trendy), chambray is classic and perfect for all year round. Normally I never pair longer sleeves with shorts but I'm thinking I might need to try it out this summer. :)

And I love those two accessories, too! I've had my eye on those flats for some time now and really want to get them!

    1. I love those two, too! :) And I'm glad you like my taste! I hardly consider myself to by stylish but Pinterest must have an effect on me or something because I've been pinning fun outfits and using it for inspiration, too. :)

  13. Ohhhh my goodness! I just did a little bit of shopping (work stuff) and REALLY wanted to buy those sandals at Target. Lamar was with me and pulled me away from the shoe department because he knew I'd spend more money. Hehe. And, I really wish that you and I could share a closet! I think we have very similar style. Florals and stripes have my heart!

    1. I've only seen these sandals online! The Target in my area didn't have the sandals on my last visit (last month) so I'm hoping they get in soon so I can try them on and see how the fit. Target really has stolen my heart (and wallet, haha). :)

And I honestly wish we could share a closet, too! I am constantly in love with your outfits and love that you are in love with stripes and florals, too. I used to hate the idea of pattern mixing, but lately, it's all that I want to do! :)

    1. Isn't it adorable? I love the stripes and cognac leather combination (that and anything with a messenger/crossbody strap is an automatic fave for me, too!). :)

  15. Kiki, if you find any of this, can you buy two and just send one my way? I absolutely LOVE everything on this page! I have yet to own a maxi dress or skirt. I'm a shorty, so I've never bought one because they end up being TOO long. And I don't do heels. ha! So, if I could find one that actually fit me right and didn't have a train, I would totally buy one. :)

My favs on this page are: that bag, those sandals, and that tank, that scarf, and that shirt (both of them). Like I said, everything!

    1. Haha, will do, will do! I actually have been thinking about seriously getting the maxi skirt and shirts and have been for awhile now. I, too, have always wanted a maxi skirt and worried they would drown me (I'm definitely NOT tall, either!). I also don't do heels but I'm hoping I can make it work. We shall see! :)
