BITS AND PIECES.

friday
So I don't know about you, but the weather this week has been crazy. Like, sunny crazy. Some of you are probably scratching your heads at this statement, but considering the fact that I live in the PNW, sunny is usually not associated with spring. But I guess I shouldn't speak too soon because I think rain is in our near future (read: this weekend).

Anyway, hope you had a lovely week and enjoy the weekend, too! I've left you with only my fave links from the week because well, life happened and I can't think of anything to add to my bits and pieces post. But if you have any to add to my list, leave it in the comments!

Have I shared Sarah's work with you before? I'm a huge fan, obviously.

I just re-discovered this well-known blog and I'm wondering why I didn't start to (really) read it sooner. This series is gold for me as a writer.

Stop being your own worst critic.

What do YOU do when you're home alone? If you're me, it's a rarity and something not to be taken for granted. It also may or may not consist of some Pandora playing/Karaoke singing, reading, blogging, TV watching, and/or baking.

Because we all need to restart our days sometimes.

And because this prank is simply awesome (and because it left me teary-eyed, too).

I'm super intrigued by this new e-course. Have you purchased this e-course or ever taken an e-course in general? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, if you have!

How to bake flat cake layers every time. Definitely going to need this trick next time I bake a cake!

And some pretty downloads for ya.

Some mountains are meant to be climbed.

40 incredibly true facts about everyday life.

Now this is one amazing room update!

Ordinary is beautiful. And because I want to make something just like that, too.

This kid's got style--and no, that's not an exaggeration.

Speaking of style, I just discovered this glasses company and loved their style quiz to help pick out frames.

And this, my friends, is truth.

12 must-see TED talks for every purposeful woman.

And because this is really, really cool.

Lastly, because this giveaway is just too good to not enter. Seriously, this girl has the best crushes and this latest crush is no exception.

Have a great one!
