BITS AND PIECES.

raindrops on flowers
Four day work weeks are my new fave. If you ask me, every weekend should be a three day weekend. Which of course, would make me want four day weekends and so on and so forth. But you know what I mean, right? Anyway, here's to the weekend and here's to June, too! Can you believe it's almost June?

Yeah, me neither. But I'll take it!

Sprinkle mugs are super cute, don't you think?

So I know you've heard me talk about this a lot, but have you entered my latest giveaway? I kind of snuck it into my regular posts and didn't talk too much about it beforehand. If you haven't entered yet, you've still got time!

Berries and whipped cream will always be my fave.

Some truth for your weekend.

I'll be using this tutorial and this Pinterest board this summer, that's for sure . I've always wanted to try my hand at watercolor and calligraphy and I think I've got a great place to start now! Are you a watercolor/calligraphy expert? Any tips or tricks?

An outdoor space that would make anyone jealous (or maybe that's just me I'm talking about...)

Oh, and maybe a kitchen makeover, too.

You can never go wrong with a good sugar cookie.

I'm planning end of the year picnics, field trips, and graduation. Yep, preschool graduation. You'd better believe I'm going to be snapping photos like crazy!

How to make a custom camera bag (found via this new friend!).

And the cutest DIY Father's Day card ever.

Some pretty watercolor freebies to dress your tech.

And some amazing photography worth swooning over.

Oh, and because it's wedding season, here's a handmade treehouse wedding I know you're going to fall in love with.

Speaking of amazing, I'm thinking this pizza would be fun to try next!

Happy Weekend!

  1. I love that kitchen makeover. And making my own fancy pizzas! I've done a similar one with crispy kale and it was delicious. Also, here's hoping that strawberries are in season here ASAP - I think I need some with cream now.

    Enjoy your weekend!

    1. Ooh, that makes me want to try crispy kale on my pizza even more now! I never would have thought of putting it on a pizza but it really sounds delicious. :) And whipped cream and strawberries (or any berry, really) is an amazing combination. I want some now, too!

  2. The watercolor lettering tutorial was amazing! I can't wait to try it this summer too. Learning calligraphy has been on my bucket list/goal list for this summer! Thanks for sharing, Kiki!

    1. I agree! I've always wanted to try my hand at watercolors and have also always wanted to try improving my lettering, too. I loved that this tutorial combined both into one! And I've always wanted to learn calligraphy as well. Have you heard of Melissa Esplin's classes? I think she has an e-course or something that I've always thought would be fun. :)

  3. I love looking at indoor/outdoor spaces. I want to live in a country where the weather is so nice I can practically live outside on my patio! Wouldn't that be fabulous!?

    1. I agree, the ABM team needs to come re-do homes/rooms/everything. Honestly, that would make the best post series ever. :)
