BITS AND PIECES.

bitsandpieces
It's officially summer, my friends! The sun is out, the books in my to-read stack is growing, and my arms are getting a little more color thanks to some afternoon runs. I'm so excited to make the most of this time and am already dreading all that I know I have to get done, too. But for now, I'm just going to enjoy it.

Have a great weekend! Got any Father's Day plans in store? I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen, but I do know that good food is involved--something that's pretty important in this family...

Now this is my kind of evening.

And the cutest template for your summer to-do list.

How faith and blogging go hand in hand. I read this post and then re-read it again and agree with it 100 times over. As someone who lives for Jesus, I want my blog to shine His light not just through my written words but through my life, too. What about you?

This shirt made me laugh.

The first photo in this home tour is the perfect napping spot, amiright?

A cute (and colorful!) retro apartment.

I don't drink soda, but that doesn't mean that Coca-Cola isn't a genius.

As a blogger who leaves/responds to comments, I found this post on exclamation points to be so very, very true. In other words, I am so very, very guilty of doing this...

11 ways Maya Angelou taught us to be better women.

I said goodbye to all my little preschoolers on Friday and may or may not have gotten a little nostalgic. They're almost all four and five now and I cannot believe how much they've grown. Someone please tell me how kids grow up so fast?

Some pretty fabric flowers to make this weekend.

And because her printables never fail to amaze me. Load up on printer ink, my friends!

Why do YOU unfollow blogs? This post was spot on for me and if I were to add anything, it would be all about a lack of connection, a blog's appearance, and when a blogger/blog changes, too.

50 Anthro hacks for every facet of your life.

These brownies sound divine.

And so does this cheesecake.

Plus, another photography blog to fall in love with.

And the prettiest temporary tattoos out there.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friends!

And I'm glad you enjoy these links! I love reading posts like these myself and love having an extra excuse to scour the web (aka browse Pinterest) for great links to share. :)

    1. That's exactly how I felt! I read it and laughed because I not only felt super guilty about my (over-use) of exclamation points, but how true it all was for everyone else, too--especially in the blogging world. :)

And that's crazy that you know Maggie! To be honest, I didn't even catch their names. :) That's so cool that you know them and seem to have been following along for some time now. Small world, right?

    1. Me, too! It was so well written and I was amazed at how Madison wrote exactly how I feel about blogging. :) And I loved that post of yours and HAD to share it. It was such a fun read and I look forward to the next post in the series!

And I use exclamation points all the time, now (partly thanks to blogging, haha). It's just so hard to convey emotion through words and text!
