BITS AND PIECES.

bees
Happy Weekend, my friends! I'm just getting into the groove of this thing called summer and so far, it's good. The weather has been warming up and I've been getting a chance to hang out with my family and so far, we're all alive and I think we all still love each other.

At least so far. Hope you all enjoy your weekend and get to spend some time with your loved ones!

Mmm...blueberry pie bars.

A cute DIY rustic wedding (aka the cutest and perfectest wedding out there).

And the cutest cake topper ever.

As a sister of three sisters (does that make sense?) this is my kind of blog post. How fun would it be to do a post like this someday? I'm going to have recruit the sisters, I think.

Speaking of siblings, do you blog about your siblings/family members? I try to show a few photos here and there, but I don't really share much about them for their privacy. It's not that I don't want to, but I also know that they have their own stories to tell and I want them to tell them if/when they want to. What are your thoughts on blogging about family/friends?

4 summer fruit lemonade recipes.

And grilled bread, four ways. Have you ever grilled bread? As a carboholic, each of these sound amazing.

A fun (and easy!) party idea to try out.

Now that summer is here, I'm on the lookout for some summery recipes. You know, yummy salads, ice cream recipes, easy dinners (for those hot evenings!) and the like. I'm currently obsessing over salads--especially easy ones. So if you've got a recipe to share, will you be so kind as to leave the link below? Muchas gracias!

A pretty home tour to ooh and ahh over.

And a beautiful engagement photoshoot, too.

How about some party popsicles? The alliteration alone should be worth the click, don't you think?

DIY envelopes for your pen pals.

This is by far the coolest summer trip ever. Let's just say I'm following along and living vicariously through this family!

This made me laugh. How true is this, though? I can think of plenty of names that will be popular in the years to come, thanks to movies, books, and the like. Would you ever name your kids after your favorite movie/TV/book character?

Typography and macarons put into one. I've never tried a macaron before, but these sure do look pretty!

Bobby pin basics. As someone who uses them everyday, I definitely learned a thing or two about these hair staples.

I want my house exterior to look like this!

And I'd love this print for my walls.

And some blogging advice that I'm learning, loving and living by (so honored to be among the wise ladies I'm featured with!).

The jewels that we are. A wonderful piece on valuing, honoring, and respecting yourself (and your body!).

Have a wonderful weekend!
