EVERYDAY MOMENTS WITH TAKING STEPS HOME.

Note: Everyday moments are some of my fave, as I'm sure you know. And reading other people's take on everyday moments remind me of the beauty all around me, both in my backyard and in the backyards of people all over the country (and world!). And as always, you're in for a treat. Amy is a gem and one of the greatest and strongest voices out there in the blogging community. I am wayyy blessed to have her in my life and on my blog today, too! Enjoy!

hi, i'm amy from | taking steps home |

when kiki asked me to be a part of her everyday moments series i knew i was a solid in.

i do my very best to enjoy the simple moments and things in life - and while i don't always recognize them, i'm trying.

there is something beautiful about the simple.

not allowing yourself to get tangled in the chaos.

being thankful for the rays of sunlight streaming through your window - announcing a new day.

the silkiness of cool, soft sheets when it is warm outside.

the sound of steam leaving the teapot.

and a good ol' homemade chai tea latte (with a certain cat's face interrupting).

deep conversations.

the last moments of sunlight before nightfall.

...all beautiful things... all every day moments.

thanks for letting me invade your space today.

  6. It's Amy!! Yay! Great and fun photos. Definitely looks like relaxing and easy-going moments. And I tried capturing that same kettle picture (with the steam coming out) the other day. Mine did not turn out as well. Those are always fun shots to me! Also, Amy, STILL love your bedroom setup. The bed by the window and that headboard. :)
