One more week until summertime, my friends! I've been busy prepping for the cutest preschool graduation (ever!) all while trying to cherish the last moments with my future kindergarteners and counting down the moments until summer, too. Multi-tasking at its finest, I say.

Hope you have a fabulous week! Are you on summer mode yet?

  1. Today is our first day of summer for our homeschooled kids! I'm just a wee bit excited and naively hope they sleep in a bit :) We love Robert Munsch books too!

    1. Hooray for summer! I hope you're all enjoying it and I hope they did sleep in, too. That's definitely something I'm looking forward to. :)

And isn't Robert Munsch the best? I always get a chuckle (or at least smile) from reading his books.

  2. Summer hit me last Sunday. It won't "really" be summer until the pool opens. :) Your wacky hair is super cute! What did the kids have to say about it?

    1. That is definitely a true sign of summer! I'm not a big pool person nowadays, but I always remember as a kid how crucial pool days were for my summers. :)

And thanks! It was a last-minute decision to have a wacky hair day so this was a last-minute hair style for the event. The kids loved it! My fellow teachers thought it was way too cute to be wacky, but the kids loved seeing all the butterflies in my hair. :)

  3. Fun! P.S. Oldest dude saw your photos from I last week (I think) and saw the crayon book at the library and said "that's the one I saw online!"

    1. Haha, I'm so glad he recognized that book! It was a little too long to read to the kiddos at work, but it's such a cute book that I hope to add to my own personal library someday. :)

    1. I'm glad you like it! It was a last-minute decision so I'm just happy it all worked out, haha. :) And thanks! I love that little corner window in the house and love being able to see the leaves of the tree outside change during the year, too.

    1. Haha, that wacky hair was wacky indeed. Going through this post just now reminded me how much has changed in just a few weeks time (all thanks to summer!). :)
