BITS AND PIECES.

raspberries
Happy Friday and Happy Fourth of July, friends! Do you have any plans in store? I'm going to a BBQ later today and then I'll hang out and watch some movies with the family since my old pup is scared of fireworks. Which, to be honest, is okay with me this year since I'm not much of a fire person. Are you a fireworks person?

Some wise words indeed.

Did you miss hearing about the Post to Post project? Victoria and I would love it if you signed up and joined us!

A new jewelry shop to fall in love with.

I'm always a fan of life hacks and this video does not disappoint.

I want to blog from right here (don't you?).

On embracing rest in a culture of busy. I'm thinking this post was written just for me.

This fireplace makeover is way too amazing not to share.

Because you have to check out this photoshoot. And maybe this one, too.

And how to pick the best watermelon out there.

I just realized that I've been seriously lacking in the Project Bookshelf department. I'm nearly three months behind (being honest here) and need to share my last quarter's books. And I also may or may not need to order them, too..

Doodling is fun, don't you think?

You can never have too many home tours, right?

On why we should photograph your friends. A must-read if you ask me!

Let's sip on this this weekend, okay?

My two favorite patterns on one cake.

Psst...all you Circle linker-uppers! This month's link-up will be next Wednesday, July 9th and my co-host and I are sharing what's in our bags/purses/totes/whatever you call it. So now's the time to clean yours out (that's more of a message for me, haha) and take some photos of what's in your bag. You know you want to snoop around other bloggers' purses as much as I do...

Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. I completely agree. When I saw and read it, it spoke to me, too. To be honest, the more that I think about it, it may be worth re-reading for me! :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend, too!

    1. Same! I'm not normally a big fan of fondant and such on cakes, but this was an exception. :)

  3. Haha! I was just joking around with my sister that if I did a "what's in my bag" post it would not be nearly as glamorous as the ones I've seen floating around on the web. Count me in on the link up! (And thanks for coming up with awesome topics!)

Also, I adore those little doodles. So very cute. :0)

    1. Oh girl, mine is most definitely NOT glamorous--yours is likely wayyy prettier than mine! :) I can't wait to see what's in your bag!

And those doodles are way too cute. If I was better at freehanding and doodling, I would definitely want to try it!
