Happy Friday, my friends! I'm relieved it's Friday because after a week of evening VBS, I am exhausted. I loved seeing and hearing the little kiddos scream about their love for Jesus but I also loved getting the chance to put my feet up at the end of the day, too.

Here's to weekends and to rest. Have a great one!

Handcrafted weddings are always my fave.

And then there's this cute and colorful work studio.

Yep, this most definitely sums up the process of blogging.

I can't get enough of this sweet proposal photoshoot.

Or this beautiful wall of books.

This looks like a fun DIY to try--can you imagine some sort of blogging-themed tee?

The blogworld has informed me that pineapples are all the rage and I'm thinking I might need to join in with this DIY project.

Yogurt breakfast popsicles. Yep, you read that right. Popsicles. for. breakfast.

This girl's thoughts on singleness are spot on. I learn so much from her!

If these photos don't make you want to travel, I don't know what will.

And then there are these stunning starry photos. My goodness, this girl is talented.

I'm thinking I need to get back into podcast listening and I think these recommendations might be a good place to start. Got any others to add to the list?

This pin made me laugh.

Let your yes be yes. Such a good read for a girl who has a hard time saying no.

Have you downloaded this app yet? It seems like a lot of fun and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it if you have it on your phone!

Oh, and in case you missed it, next month's Circle topic was announced! My co-host and I are hosting a closet confidential link-up (inspired by Savannah's vlog!) and are sharing our favorite clothing items including our oldest, newest, most expensive, best bargain and a few items we're really loving, too. You pick and choose and decide what to include and if you're bold like us, you'll do a vlog, too (or you can totally share photos instead). I'm still trying to psych myself up for the vlog part, haha.
UPDATE:We'll see you on and your closet on Wednesday August 20th!

  1. - thank you for linking my post! girl, i learn just as much from you, so it's a win-win. :)
    - that post about let your yes be yes - i needed that. i, too, have a hard time saying no because i don't want to make people mad or inconvenience them. but sometimes it's a necessary thing to do.
    - amanda's process and GIF's about blogging - SO HILARIOUS! (and true!)

    - i just posted a review of sorts about the party party app! it is SO fun!

    1. You are so welcome! I love learning from and with you and am so blessed to be able to read your blog. :)

And I'm terrible at saying no to people, I've realized that it's the people-pleaser in me and saying no is something I'm slowly trying to integrate in my life--isn't it crazy how hard saying one word can be?

And I can't wait to read your post! It looks like a lot of fun and I'm hoping I get a chance to get it and try it out soon!

  2. Popsicles for breakfast? Count me in! Those starry pictures are unreal! Whenever I've tried to take pictures of the stars they definitely don't turn out like that. :) I love a few podcasts, but I will have to check out those ones! Horizontal life pauses? Yes. Love that app! I have the photobooth app which is a lot like that one I think.

    1. Seeing that pin for popsicles for breakfast was like a game changer for me--especially with hot summer weather! I've been eating green smoothies lately but will have to try out the popsicles because they sound amazing!

And weren't those starry photos amazing? I've always wanted to capture photos like that but haven't had a chance to try (that and I'm pretty sure I could never get a photo like that, either!).

Ooh, I've never thought about getting a photobooth app--that and the party! party! app sound like a lot of fun!

  3. love all these links!
The post on singleness- so stinkin good!!
I can't wait for the circle, i will so be doing it, maybe a vlog, that would be kinda fun.

    1. Amber's post on singleness was amazing and spot on--so glad you enjoyed it as much as I did!

And I cannot wait to see your post! I still haven't filmed my vlog but am hoping to get to it soon! :)

  4. Hey thanks for linking to my post! I still think it's pretty funny. GIFs make things more fun, me thinks :)

    1. Oh, also, is the Circle linkup on the 13th or the 20th? I thought your second email said the 20th... am I confused? Probably.

    2. It was really funny and totally something that deserves linking to in these posts of mine! :)

And yes, the Circle is on the 20th! I actually changed it shortly after publishing this post and totally forgot to update it--thanks for the reminder and sorry for the confusion!

  5. >> The handcrafted wedding: adorb! So many cute ideas!
    >> The yogurt breakfast pops: brilliant!!
    >> The blogging gifs : true and priceless!
    >> The wall of books: swoon!

    1. Yes, yes, and yes to all the things you listed. :) Those were some of my fave links from this post!
