I'm learning more every day that this project is more than just a documentation of your life--it's a chance to get to know your camera better and a chance to just enjoy the everyday moments. And as a girl who's realizing more and more that photography and everyday life go hand in hand, it's the perfect challenge at that.

How was your weekend, friends?

    1. Exactly! Honestly, I spend way too much time shopping clearance but how can you pass up a good deal? :)

    1. They were scrumptious! I love fresh berries and these were super juicy ones at that. We ate them up and now I want more, haha. :)

And yes, clearance section for the win! That's pretty much my favorite way to shop!

  3. Clearance is really the only way to go. :)

Also, do I spy Rizzoli and Isles? I've only seen a few episodes, but it was good!

    1. Exactly! I honestly spend way longer in clearance sections than I do anywhere else in Target and the like. I used to think it was the Asian in me, but I think it's also the teacher and thrifty person that I am, too. :)

And that is Rizzoli and Isles! I checked it out from my library because I'm always on the search for a new TV show to try. I haven't seen it yet but one of the actresses is from NCIS so I'm interested to see her in this show!

    1. Yeah, it was a crazy lucky find--even the cashier was shocked. And it'll likely make an appearance in my vlog! I'll either be wearing it or I'll be using it for one of the prompts. :)

And thank you! It really means a lot to hear that you like my photography style--especially in posts like these!

    1. It's Old Navy! I'm a huge fan of their clearance section and tend to shop there first!

And I need to make more popsicles! It's been crazy hot (at least for the PNW, haha) so I've been hiding out in the house trying to beat the heat. I'll need to go check out Pinterest for some inspiration!

  6. You inspire me! I gotta get my nikon out and start documenting what's going on in this season of life! It's so easy to forget if we do not take moments to freeze and capture the essence of the moment

    1. You should, you should! This project is really what gets me to break out the camera--otherwise, it'd honestly get dusty. I say do it because you never know what you'll end up capturing!
