BITS AND PIECES.

succulents
Um, it's August. August, people. How did that happen so quickly? I'm a little bit confused and a little bit unsure about how fast summer has flown by. Someone please slow it down a little. Pretty please?

Here's to enjoying the weekend, taking a moment to slow down, and just have fun. And clicking on some fun links, too!

A truly beautiful engagement shoot.

And another one, too.

I don't drink coffee, but this recipe almost makes me want to start.

This is the newest addition to my daily blog reads. This post series is my fave!

I somehow came across this shop and am in love with everyyyything in it. Especially this and this (oh, and this, too!).

Three tips for blogging faster.

And one thing every blogger should know.

This sounds like the perfect summertime cake (or any day, really!).

If you bake me this pie, we'll be best friends forever.

I've always wanted to go yard-saleing and am feeling more prepared (am I the only one who finds it awkward to shop yardsales?) thanks the these two helpful blog posts full of tips! Do you have any great tips to add to the list?

A lovely, lovely home tour.

I'd like each and every one of these mugs, please.

The perfect (and free!) summery wallpapers to download for your computer and/or phone.

A cute, colorful, and fun summer wedding.

And a new-to-me favorite photographer.

Why bloggers need to talk to their readers. As someone who's all about relationships and community, this was a great read.

Have a great one!

P.S. There's been a change of date for this month's The Circle! The Closet Confidential link-up has been pushed back one week to Wednesday, August 20th. Thanks for being flexible and we'll see your vlogs then!

    1. I wish I could get my hands on alllll of those mugs, they're just way too cute. :)

And I can't wait for The Circle, too! I've been trying to decide which clothing options to include and will hopefully make some time to record my vlog. You're not the only one who hasn't made theirs. :)

  4. I am almost ashamed to admit how many weddings I browse through after clicking your link to GWS. It's just... I got married TWO MONTHS AGO, and I haven't gotten my photos yet! I'm dying to get them! So I live vicariously though other people's shots till then.

    1. Girl, I'm nowhere even NEAR getting married and I still click through wedding posts on Pinterest like crazy. :) And you still haven't gotten your photos yet? I have no idea what the turnover rate is for wedding photographers, but I hope you get them soon! :)

    1. Me too, me too! When I first spotted that link I was wary because a lot of times posts like that are cliche and not very encouraging/helpful. But this one proved me wrong! :)

  6. I love this little series of yours!! It's so fun!

Ah! Those engagement shoots are so beautiful!! I want to go explore in the forest from the first one!!
I don't drink coffee either, but I LOVE the smell of it!! It reminds me of days past with my dad!!
That raspberry ice cream cake sounds delicious and looks soo pretty!!
Those motivational mugs are so fun! They would definitely perk up my morning!!! (they would have to since it would be water or juice in them, not coffee ;) )

    1. Thanks, Aubrey! It's one of my favorite post series and it gives me another excuse to check out Pinterest, too. :)

And you don't even know how excited I am to hear that you're not a coffee drinker! I feel like everyone in the blog world drinks coffee but I'm just not a coffee drinker. I occasionally eat cereal or drink my green smoothies in mugs, so I'm a mug lover, even if coffee isn't inside!
