8/5: work it out (or sweat it out?).
august6th
8/6: playdough dyeing.
august7th
8/7: because sprinkles make life better.
august8th
8/8: long awaited and bookmarked already.
august9th
8/9: bald eagle spotting!
august10th
8/10: ice cubes for preschoolers.
One of the things I've realized as the weeks go on is that it's important to embrace the imperfect photo. I used to push towels away to make my photos more perfect (well, some of these are still staged, to be honest!) but I've found myself moving more and more away from doing just that. It's not that I don't like pretty photos, but rather, I've realized that it's important to really embrace the messy imperfections. The blurry photos, the dust, and the towels, too.

    1. I was going to write this same comment! Too funny! Also, your weights are a pretty color. :]

    2. Haha, yeah I thought that one might require some explanation. :) But the tie-dye effect was too cool not to take a photo of, even if it is a little odd!

    1. They really are! My family and I weren't sure if it really was a bald eagle but when we all took photos and zoomed in and even though it was blurry, you could tell it was one! :)

And I'm the same way with IKEA! I don't get to go very often, but I always leave with something (or really, more than I originally intended!).

(great different photos!) and when I first saw the gloves I thought "SNAP SHE DIED HER HAIR" then I saw the playdough haha

    1. I *just* got mine and thought I was the last one! I've seen other bloggers talk about theirs and was wondering how they send them out. I hope you get yours soon!

Haha, I'm definitely not that bold to go purple with my hair! I have dyed mine with Kool-Aid before but that was a totally sticky disaster. :)

  4. What kind of melon is that? I just can't remember right now...

    SPRINKLES are always fun!

And way to just let the pictures happen. It IS better that way!

    1. It's a canary melon! They're my favorite kind of melon and you should try one sometime! :)

And sprinkles are always fun. They're actually really fun to photograph, haha. Oh, and I'm glad you agree! I love styling photos but sometimes life just calls for an unstyled, unedited photo.

    1. Thanks! Hey, now were weight buddies! Do you have a specific workout routine that you're using yours with? I've been trying different ones and am always open to hearing what other people do! :)

Love those ice trays! I've been meaning to get ice trays because our ice maker just broke!

    1. I'm glad you understood that photo! :) I had to make a new batch and the tie-dye effect was too cool not to take a photo of--as weird as that sounds!

And they're from IKEA! They were a dollar or two per tray and I love how cute they are. I've actually been using them for different things for preschool and I'm thinking I need to go get more!

    1. It's delicious! I definitely recommend it.

And I love fun ice cube trays, too! I use them for the preschoolers I teach but I'm thinking I might need another set just for me. :)

    1. Thanks, Kelly! I honestly thought I was lacking in color this week, so that means a lot to hear that! :)
