PROJECT 365: WEEK 35.

august25th
8/25: thred-up haul.
august26th
8/26: library love.
august27th
8/27: easy peasy lemon squeezy.
august28th
8/28: #nofilter.
august29th
8/29: a change in scene.
august30th
8/30: negative space.
august31st
8/31: sending out the snail mail.

I worried that taking 365 photos would mean a ton of repeats and while there are a lot of similar scenes, I've been amazed to find so many different things to take photos of if I just change my perspective. And I think that's the same thing about life in general. Sometimes we just need to look up at Him to remember who we are.

Hope you had a wonderful (long!) weekend!

  1. What sweet bird stamps! And the one of the globe in the background and the leaves in the foreground is perfect. Your 365 posts are my fave!

  3. I love the light in your pictures! It's so soft, even, and dreamy! Also LOVE the negative space... I've always been a believer that negative space is oh such a good thing (even though my teachers didn't always quite think the same way...)

  4. The one with the globe is my fave, too! I'm a HUGE fan of negative space but hardly ever use it in my own photographs. I think I need to change that now! :)

  5. They're so nice to have! I got mine at Bed Bath & Beyond but I'm pretty sure they're sold everywhere. It makes watching TV in bed or late night blogging sessions that much easier. :)

  6. Same! I'm a HUGE fan of negative space but have forgotten to use them in my own photographs. I'm hoping to throw some into this project from now on!

  7. p.s. Thank you SO much for telling me how much you enjoy these posts! I love looking at other people's post series like this but wasn't sure how much others would like mine. :)

  9. I agree! I'm not a huge fan of birds (I'm actually kind of scared of them--I hate when things fly over my head!) but I loved those stamps. But these stamps make snail mail that much better!

  11. Thanks, Aubrey! That means a lot coming from a pro like you. :) And I love negative space, too! I think its power is underestimated and it really is a powerful composition trick, too! Did you study photography?

  14. That's awesome! I knew you were a photographer (and an AMAZING one at that) but I had no idea you studied photography on top of that! That's so cool!
