BITS AND PIECES.

bitsandpieces1114
Happy Friday, friends! I'm off to a kid-filled weekend babysitting and Sunday School teaching. While I truly teach and work with children every single day, it's something that I love and am grateful that I can love and enjoy the work I do. Enough of that, though.

Here's to weekends, relaxation, sleeping in, and living in yoga pants (right?)!

Because every interview with Shauna Niequist is a good one.

Hidden messages in logos. Can you spot them?

For my fellow grammar geeks. Note: stationary means standing still, like a stationary bike, or piece of exercise equipment. Stationery, on the other hand, refers to paper and envelopes sent in snail mail.

And for my fellow single ladies. Amber nailed it again!

A seasonal harvest feast sounds good to me!

So this blew my mind.

And so did this wedding (and the photographer's mad skills!).

Adding this to my wishlist!

This sounds scrumptious.

A super cute advent calendar idea.

And some super cute candied apples!

This is why I'm a huge fan of to-do lists.

Silhouette DIY projects are always fun.

And I'm always a fan of anything marbled.

Way too cute.

This post made me grateful that I've got two great sisters of my own.

And a new jewelry shop that I know you're going to love as much as me.

Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

  1. I don't know what's better about the slap bracelets... that they're actually tape measures or Joey's face.

  4. That wedding. So. Gorgeous. I've been doing nothing but stare at gorgeous wedding photography for the past few weeks, because I'm assisting/second shooting at actual wedding next month and I'm so excited/nervous!

  7. Same! We don't do a lot with Advent calendars anymore but we still do light candles and such. I have been on the lookout for cute ideas, though, because I hope to keep that tradition when I have kids (a long time from now, but still). :)

  11. Girl, you know how much I NEED words/posts about singleness to be free from cliches. :) I'm pretty sure we've talked about it, but even though they mean well, they're not always the words we need/want to hear. :)

    Have a great weekend!

  14. Thanks, Jenna! I am a huuuuge fan of anything foggy/frosty right now (the photographs almost make up for the fact that I'm freezing when I take them!). :)

And I didn't do a lot of Advent calendars growing up (except the storebought ones as a kid), either. I love the idea of them and really want to make them when I have kids of my own! :)
