Tired of scrolling yet? I honestly cannot believe it's been weeks since my last 365 post (especially since I was just talking about how I wanted to finish the year strong!). But I finally took the time to sit down, edit, upload, and create this post and I'm glad I did.

I like looking through past week's photos and remembering all of the things that have happened. And after a weekend full of my favorite things (shopping, Christmas decorating, hiking, and sleeping in!), I'm excited to see what the rest of this year has in store--the photos included.

How was your weekend, friends?

  8. I know, right? To be completely honest, I haven't used too much of it because I haven't really had the time/patience to sit down and learn all that I can do with it. And part of me kind of wishes I researched more before I bought it because I think I'd really like a program where I can do more blog design work... :)

But I digress. Really, I just need to spend more time on it and read up on tutorials (like the ones you pin!). I hope you get a chance to get your hands on a copy of it soon!

  10. Haha, I'm actually probably not the person to be jealous of. I've actually hardly used it! I used it for a few photos but found that I don't have the time/patience right now to use a new program. Soooo, I fail right now. :) I actually find that I'm much faster at PicMonkey editing (which is what I have been doing lately) and have been turning to PicMonkey because it's so much easier for me.

That, and part of me wishes I had bought a different program because I'd love to do more blog design work and have Photoshop or something!

But I digress. :) What program do you use?

  11. Thanks, Cassie! I've always thought that moss is pretty and it means a lot that you liked that photo!

And I am SO excited that you're going to do this project next year! Can't wait to see your photos!

  12. oh picmonkey...love that site!
I actually don't use a program (often). I just adjust light/contrast etc on mac's preview. When i really want to add filters i upload my images to afterlight (the app) and play around on there. haha.
lightroom would be a DREAM though!

  13. Ooh, I never would have thought of doing any of that! Are you editing on your iPad? I LOVE Afterlight for Instagram! :)

  14. It is! It's greens, tomatoes, bell peppers, a can of beans, corn, and other veggies and then tossed in a simple vinaigrette and sprinkled with Cotija cheese and tortilla chips (or Fritos). So easy and SO yummy!

  16. Thanks! That was my FAVE. We used to try and get rid of the moss, but I think it just adds character to the steps!

  17. i LOVE afterlight too! their filters are stunning!
and yeah i go through this long process of emailing the pictures to myself, editing them, re-emailing, etc. it can get a little crazy! So yeah, ipad for now, i WISH they made it to edit on the computer!

  18. FROST!! YAY! that cook book looks awesome!! I can't wait to hear about it! I love the new frames! YAY for Lightroom!!! If you want or need any help I would be glad to!! :) Uhm, I love that mossy step!!! It looks straight out of a movie! I think my favorite image this week is your selfie! I love the half in half out of frame and all the negative space!! :) Frito Salad? I've never heard of this, but it kind of sounds good! Yay! We just got our tree this past saturday, and I love it! Yay for new snail mail supplies! I got your letter when we got back into town, but I have been so busy that I haven't even had a chance to open it yet! :( EEK I'm sorry!! I love Christmas lights! They are so happy!
