BITS AND PIECES.

0319
It's FRIDAY! And it's officially the start of Spring Break (aka spring cleaning for my classroom!). Even though I don't get the full week off, I'm looking forward to the chance to clean, organize, and straighten up the bookshelves and such.

And yes, I am an organization-loving dork and proud of it.

Are you on Spring Break yet? Do you have spring-y weather? Either way, I hope you have a splendid weekend!

This instagram (found via this girl).

Well, this just blew my mind.

How to be a better baker.

And 5 tips for creating better videos. This is actually something I hope to work on in the future, so I'll take all the tips I can get!

This looks perfect for brunch!

On simplicity. I could use more of that.

And on magic hour. My absolute favorite time of day.

This made me giggle.

And some pretty cute printable journaling cards.

Loving this home in Norway.

And then there's this name/personality test. It was a little odd, but somewhat true for me. What about you?

Have a great weekend!

  1. Yay for spring break!!!! Enjoy the time to slow down a BIT and get some organizing done! You'll welcome the kids back feeling so great, I just know it. :)

I'm LOVING your spring pictures lately. I actually stopped and just looked at the one from last Friday for a while because it was so pretty. For as much sun and warmth as we've had, nothing is blooming in my yard yet. I did notice some hyacinths at the library though, so it won't be long!!!!

I read parts of Joy's post to my family the other day (it could have been yesterday...I don't remember!) because it was sooo good! The bit about the pie crust cracked me up! You and I were just talking about that right? I dream of going to Joy's house and having her teach me once and for all how to make a pie crust and shape the edge too! :)

  4. I know, right? When I saw it, I thought it was a joke or something. How fun would it be to have a notebook like that???

  5. Of course! It was too good not to. :)

And I thought that personality quiz was wayyyy too weirdly spot on! There were some differences, but for the most part, a lot of it was right for me!

  6. That is the EXACT feeling I know I'll have, too! There's something about having a break that is so refreshing and needed for teachers. :)

And thank you so very much! Some of my photos are from last year, but we've had some crazy nice weather lately. Of course, it's rainy and grey today, but that photo from this post is from last week. Hopefully the sun comes your way and comes back my way soon!

Joy always cracks me up! I love listening to her podcast because I DO feel like I'm hanging out with her. That girl is awesome!
