BITS AND PIECES.

IMG_0487[1]
Exhausted would be the word for the week. It's been a long week and that means that I'm extra grateful for Fridays and the magic that they bring. I know (or at least I hope!) I'm not the only one who wakes up on Friday mornings with a little more pep in her step than any other day of the week.

So here's to Fridays and a little peppiness for the weekend.

...and some links to love, too.

This photoshoot made me laugh.

And this will make you smile.

Weeds never looked so pretty.

Do you apologize too much as a blogger?

Some interesting thoughts on motivation.

A beautiful truth to print out this weekend.

And yet another beautiful family photoshoot.

Love the cohesion and crisp and clean look of this home.

And a post I needed to read.

Have a splendid weekend, friends.

  1. Oh my goodness, I want to be best friend with those people who took those pictures of their dog. Hilarious.

  3. Happy Friday, Kiki!!!! :) I've been thinking about you a lot this week! :)

I love the weeds too! My sister used to go on walks and bring "wildflowers" back. They smelled horrid, but they did make beautiful arrangements!

Amanda's post was soooo timely for my no blogging for 20 days self. :)

    I love a pretty printable!

Also...That Boston home is so clean and crisp and bright! It's not my style, but I really like it! :)

  4. Every time I start to get down, I try to list the reasons why I'm thankful, and it always makes me feel lame for complaining and better about life! That's for sharing that blog post :) Hope you have a restful weekend!

  5. Can't wait to check out these posts! I'm probably one of those bloggers who apologizes too much. Actually I know I am. Love that tree picture by the way!

  7. I'm the same! I feel like I owe apologies for everything, but when Amanda said that it implies that there are rules for blogging, it really hit me. It's OUR blog and we can write when we feel like it! :)

  8. I know that I am, too! I'm actually realllly bad in day-to-day conversations as well, haha. :)

And thanks! I'm all about trees and nature right now--spring has finally sprung!

    Have a great weekend!

  9. Me, too! I have a hard time remembering to take time to create those lists, but when I do, I realize just how lucky I really am. :)

  10. Oh friend, I've been thinking about you, too! It was so good to see your name and see your face as I was scrolling through the comments. :)

And lots of great links this week, right? Amanda's post was exactly what I needed to read and I loved that those weeds looked so beautiful--it really shows that it all comes down to perspective, right?

  14. You're too sweet! I feel like I'm terrible at interior design because I find making all these decisions to be SO hard. So it'll probably be YEARS before I can do a tour of the new home :)

  15. I'm the same. I have a hard time deciding what I want to do and by the time I actually have time do them, I still cannot make up my mind. Indecisiveness definitely gets the best of me!

And I'll be excitedly waiting for that home tour! :)
