JULY IN PHOTOS.

July was fast-paced and yet good. Lots of growth, lots of driving, and lots of time to sit back and think. All of that thinking led to lots of growth and change and I'm excited to see where God will lead me.

I learned to say yes to things that scare you and to do scary things not just to expand your horizons, but to prove to yourself that you're braver than you think.

I saw a bald eagle while on the beach and was reminded that there's so much beauty around us, you just have to take the time to look around--especially appreciating what's up above us.

July also taught me the importance of treating yourself. I was at TJ Maxx the other day (which is not-so-conveniently placed near Trader Joe's in my town--so great for my wallet!) and purchased a dress on a whim. And I realized it's okay to feel good about buying things that make you look and feel happy.

Lastly, I learned that family and friends are crucial to my life. I'm not a social butterfly, but I love the friends I've got and am so grateful for their support, encouragement, and ability to make me smile and laugh. Friendship is a powerful thing and I'm so grateful for the friends and family I've got in my circle.

What did you learn, see, and do in July?
