DECEMBER IN PHOTOS.

And here we are, at the end of 2016. The fall and early winter months are some of my favorites. There's lots of reminiscing, lots of goal-writing for the new year and tons of holiday cheer mixed in between.

I get a little nostalgic as I think back on the year--how fast it flew by, how many adventures I embarked on, how many people I met, how many photographs I snapped, and how many words I read and wrote, too. I begin to savor the sweetest memories, often the smallest moments and details that made this year so great. December was no different. I savored the Christmas season with singing to my Christmas Pandora station, playing Christmas music on my viola, walking in the icy snow (and enjoying snow days off from work!), and looking for Christmas decorations to light up the night skies.

2016 was full of a lot of new beginnings. And while it was also full of endings, it was full and as I encountered challenges, I found myself being reminded of the truth that He is faithful.

He was and is faithful. And as I look back on 2016, I can see so much of His faithfulness, especially when measured in all of the prayers answered (even if they weren't answered in the ways I had hoped/expected).
