MAY IN PHOTOS.

...and just like that, it's the end of May.

May was fast. Full of sunshine and end-of-the-year field trips. Full of long work days, sandal weather, and lots of watermelon and lime for hydration and afternoon snacks.

This month, I realized just how fast time flies. And it's made me nostalgic, hopeful, and a little scared. I've had this underlying feeling, this stirring in my heart to make some changes and I'm finding myself more and more open to actually taking steps in that direction.

And maybe it's because of these decisions that I've found myself taking time away from this blog. I didn't know it at the time, but I think I needed to take a step away from here (even though it was very unintentional and mainly because end of the school year is super busy and exhausting!) because during these few weeks away, I've been able to process and spend more time praying and journaling about where I'm at, where I'd like to be, and where God's leading me to go.

There are a lot of unknowns out there--as it's true for a lot of my friends right now--so I'm trying to cling to hope, trusting in His faithfulness, and His perfect plans.

So here's to a new month, the sweetness of summertime (that's just around the corner!), and the Truth that keeps me grounded (and literally humbles me each and every day).

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness" - James 1:2-3 (ESV).
