NOVEMBER IN PHOTOS.

Dear November,

Fall colors are one of my love languages. The way the sun shines through every tree branch, warming up the skies and highlighting each vein on the leaf. On my daily walks, I find myself often stopping every few steps because there are more trees, more leaves, more beauty that I want to capture and soak in.

I felt a strong desire for internal change as well, but didn't find any coming my way. And in that stillness, I was faced with the choice of trying to run ahead--trying to find my own change--or staying right where God's placed me.

So if God is calling me to stay, then my job is to remain--even if it's the hardest thing for me to do. God's been calling me back into His arms, and in exchange for my reluctance, I've found His grace.

November is always a welcome sight to my eyes. Thanksgiving is like a preview to Christmas for me and I'm excited to see what's around the corner--including the upcoming new year. I'm excited to go look at Chip and Jo's Hearth & Hand line at Target, excited to wrap gifts for family and friends, and search for the perfect Christmas tree.

It may only be November, but if you ask me, it's the most wonderful time of the year.
