ENJOYING painted fingernails. I don't do it often because I can never keep them nice as a teacher; but when I do, I always feel a little fancier (which says a lot about my make-up and beauty routines, haha). It's the little things, right?
LEARNING MORE ABOUT the foster care system. God's placed this on my heart this past year and I'm slowly but surely, taking steps forward to be more directly involved in the lives of the children in this system. I'm excited to see where God will take me on this journey!
EATING homemade macaroni. Fun fact: pasta is one of my least favorite dishes (along with seafood). And I've actually been cutting out most dairy and carbs (which has brought some awesome results!), but I make an exception for my mom's homemade mac and cheese. That stuff is a-mazing, especially straight out of the oven!
