MAY IN PHOTOS.

Dear May,

Not going to lie--you were a tough month. The spring crazies are real in my classroom and it was a struggle to find the energy to make it through some of those tough, exhausting weeks. Fortunately, there were some pretty amazing moments sprinkled in between and seeing the kids laugh and smile during the day made it worth it--it's the little things, right?

Aside from that, I found myself outside most every weekend in May, typically out in the forests hiking with friends from church and enjoying the outdoors while also chatting and sharing stories and what's on our hearts. My community group at church has become my second family and I love each and every one of them dearly.

May also included Mother's Day (and a photo with just me and my mom--which likely hasn't happened since I was a kid?!), playing music and work and at church, a luau with work friends, a little retail therapy, and listening to Hillsong United's latest album (Whole Heart's got my whole heart!).

May, you were a long month, but I know you'll make June that much sweeter.
