I think it's super important for parents to have some downtime and it's great to hear you and your husband get to do that! :)Kikihttp://www.initstimeblog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858077928947631725.post-71431669761903551642015-07-26T13:21:19.434-07:002015-07-26T13:21:19.434-07:00I'm not a morning person so usually mornings a...I'm not a morning person so usually mornings are hurried as I try to get midget and myself out of the house within 30 minutes (never happens). But evenings are mine and mine alone. After a stressful day, I turn off all electronics, I turn on the radio, I pour myself a glass of wine and munch on cheese, salami, and other accompaniments. The hubby is usually downstairs having his own wind down routine while the midget is fast asleep. It's glorious me time.deehttp://itsgonnabeokaylove.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858077928947631725.post-53148433373846427772015-07-24T11:25:46.752-07:002015-07-24T11:25:46.752-07:00That's how I am in the mornings during the sch...That's how I am in the mornings during the school year (or all day, really). I'm always busy, busy, busy. I've been trying to think of more ways to intentionally show down during the school year so I can bring these slow mornings into my every day routine. :) It's tough, that's for sure!Kikihttp://www.initstimeblog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7858077928947631725.post-51686210623833043792015-07-24T08:09:19.645-07:002015-07-24T08:09:19.645-07:00oh man. i love this.

I think it's something on every teacher's hearts, especially during the summertime when we get the (much-needed!) time to take time for ourselves. I feel guilty at times, but then I think about the school year and late nights! :)

Also, how are you headed back to school already?!?!? I always forget that you get out earlier so you start back sooner, too. Can you believe I go back to school next week and then the kiddos come back on the 3rd!? Whew, it flew by! I love how you worded it "And I love that summertime allows me to make myself a priority."
